This was an excellent stay from start to finish. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, the beds were uber comfy and the staff were incredible. I would especially like to thank Audrie for being a ray of sunshine each time we saw her- she always remembered us and had a smile and kind word for us.

Poor sleep due to hot and stuffy room - not resolved when reported.

Very little sleep due to the room being far too hot and stuffy. Reported the issue with the 'air cooling system' on the Sunday night, but nothing was done. The window barely opens and is also above a busy street. The result was me exhibiting at a busy nearby event, feeling completely shattered for three days. Please don't waste your time replying with your standard response to bad reviews. Clearly, you do nothing and don't value feedback, as this issue has come up several times before.

Upon arrival, I found that my room was not yet prepared. The staff informed me that it would take an hour or two to get it ready. Initially, they had trouble locating my booking. After spending six hours on public transport, I needed to freshen up. The staff suggested I use the gym while waiting, which I found to be satisfactory. Once I finally got into my room, I was pleased to find it lovely. The breakfast provided was also great. The hotel's location was ideal for my visit to the Excel.

We regret any inconvenience caused by the delay in preparing your room upon your early arrival. While we strive to have rooms ready as early as possible, it's not always feasible due to cleaning and preparation schedules. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Excellent facilities located very conveniently next to the ExCeL which was the purpose of my visit. Upgraded upon arrival, very comfortable bed and a nicely equipped gym. Lovely views across the docklands area and lots of choice for local restaurants.

Really convenient location for the Excel, so easy to get to from King’s Cross Station too (one tube stop, then change on to Elizabeth line to Custom House). Check in super quick and efficient, and service was great too! The room was a little hot but I think it’s only because it was an unusually hot day when I went. Audrie in the restaurant was lovely and so friendly too.
