Great hotel, room had a canal view, very clean and tidy, a good reasonably price hotel! Breakfast was nice both continental and some hot food was available. Bar snacks and food was great too. Sadly the bar closed around 10:30pm so we went two doors down to another hotel for drinks and cocktail to around 1:30am!

Staff Makes the Experience Worth It!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was a bit austere, but what we missed the most was a box of facial tissue and extra trash can in the main room. The shredded foam pillows were a bit lacking. We had read bad reviews about the beds, but in all honesty, after a day of touring from morning to evening, we were so tired we faded right off to sleep and the mattresses made no difference. The front desk staff was outstanding! Fortunately I had my email confirmation which cleared up questions about the rate, etc. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the room with the canal view! I loved looking out at the canal, the boats and the houses across the way. Amsterdam wouldn't have been the same without having the canals to look at every morning and evening! We were close to the Metro and did a lot of walking as well as using Uber a few times and a taxi to the airport. The sign near the front desk showing rates to the airport needs updating. We had the front desk person call a taxi for us to Schipol and the rate published was $59. We were charged $70 and not sure why but the driver was good and we arrived quickly.

Enjoyed our stay. Location was ideal. Shame the bar didn't stay open after 9pm Only 1 extra pillow in the room. Could have done with option of another Bed was very comfortable. Cleaners were thorough. Customer services were excellent. We had to postpone our planned trip last year through ill health but they rescheduled for this year without any issues. Got a couple of free drinks too.
