I appreciated having a full gym and the location was close to the park, but there were elements of the hotel that needed serious attention. I would often have to call housekeeping to make up my room (sometimes I would have to call twice) and when they did clean they would often leave dirty glasses or never refill the coffee, water, or mini-bar. The pool was very small and only had two sun loungers. The restaurant was not good.. my first meal actually came out frozen in the middle and had to be "re-heated" which is never a good sign. Also my room key constantly deactivated. They said it was from my cellphone but someone times they were in separate bags. I think the technology was just old. The "king bed" was just two singles pushed together so there was a crack in the middle. They did have a good cocktail menu

Having stayed with Pullman before on another Business trip and finding myself in Sao Paulo I decided to try the brand I knew.. In Honesty, I have to say I was quite disappointed.. I was located on the 12th floor (1279) under the AC units on the roof which were very noisy along with a loud refrigerator in the room made for a less than pleasant stay.. the shower wasn't great, the AC didn't work well, neither did the light switches which stuck, the lights above the bed worked sometimes and not others, the security catch on the door was attached to the door sourround which came off when I was leaving the room and the catch had bounced back around... I did ask about switching rooms, and the reception staff said I could but I was just too busy to pack my thing again to move.. anyway, the room just needed some TLC...
