Steatosi TripAdvisor review

Ibis is the chain you are generally sure of the quality. Minimalist, clean, efficient, standardized. So, no surprises. On this occasion: The location is good. You are not in the caotic center, but in 10-15 minutes you are in teh Hebraic part where all bars and restaurants are. Reaching the Parliament along the river is a 30 minutes walk. Similar time is needed to be at the feet of of Buda Castle. The matresses are rigid/hard and to me it's great (I personally hate the soft beds). The room was small and clean. The bathroom is equipped (no bidet...) and was clean. If I have to find 2 negative things: - The sit of the toilet was loose. We have informed the reception - the end of April is considered "winter period" and the AIRCO can't be set to cool-down the room. Now, with 27C outside and a room o the first floor, you can't get fresh air. In fact: the street where the hotel is located is busy and there are restaurants. It is extremely noisy and you can't keep the window open in the night. Last, the breakfast: a lot of choice and different menu on the 2 mornings I have been there.

The breakfast was a great start to every morning. It was delicious, robust, and was the best feature of the hotel. The rooms left a little wanting due to some of the flooring coming up which degraded the sense of a nice room. Everything else was to standard. I will add that I thought the direction of the toilet to be strange.

It was my second visit, it came as a surprise at the check-in desk that they organized the same room for me. It was a sweet touch really. The room got new decoration, but same great view. Thank you

Stayed in this Ibis for 3 nights, the room was comfortable and meet my needs, there was an excellent choice for breakfast I found the staff helpful & friendly. I was able to check in 30 minutes early as my room was ready at no extra cost. This Ibis is conveniently located for exploring Budapest on foot or if you are less able there is an excellent public transport system stop 2 minutes' walk from the hotel, which includes the airport shuttle bus . There are also plenty of restaurants close by.
