A good hotel for location next to Central Station. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a cosy room which was very basic, I missed my tea/coffee facilities in the room unless I paid for one to take upstairs with me.

Lovely hotel, staff really helpful, restaurant food and bar great. Only downside was someone set the fire alarm off at around 5am causing lots of confusion as you can imagine.

We arrived after a long flight and the Ibis Amsterdam is easy to get to from the airport by train. We had a friendly welcome and the bonus was that our room was ready. After a shower and a rest we were able to walk and enjoy the sights and food of Amsterdam.

The location provides very convenient access to downtown Amsterdam and to the rail network. The rooms were a bit "spartan" by character and would have benefited from better sound isolation.

We arrived early from a long flight from America and were able to check-in to our room as soon as we arrived. Except for the weather, everything was perfect. After reading other comments before we arrived, I can confirm most are wrong. We choose the bigger room, and the size for the area was the same as other places. In the USA generally all hotel rooms are huge. But we traveled to many hotels on this trip and the size was the same, so do not listen to those comments. The site has paid storage lockers if you need them. No one mentioned this. 24 hour self service food available to purchase. Perfect location. Safety was never a concern. The weather was windy, rain, and cold. It affected the entire region. The room was very comfortable.
