My single room was comfy, clean and very well appointed. The hotel was very conveniently located next to the station and for connecting buses. The staff were friendly and welcoming and there was an excellent buffet breakfast available with a wide range to choose from. I would be very happy to stay at the Mercure again.

ok City centered hotel for 1-2 days

First the positive, the staff was very friendly and supportive. Downside: - breakfast is exactly the same every day, no variation at all. Scrambled egg fully overcooked (super dry) no offer for omelet or fried egg. - beds are super soft (but that's personal preference) - room service some days ok, some days just the bed made and that was it - the cleanliness of the hair dryer is close to zero, sticky with residuals from last 50 guests, I guess - I avoided to use it

Mercure is reasonably priced and staff are the best! The restaurant is also quite good. The rooms need some attention. My air conditioner didn’t work, it blew air but not cold. Also this last stay my bathroom had a bad smell (rusty pipe smell?) I didn’t feel like relocating to another room so I put up with it.
