The room was spacious, everything was clean, great location, staff very friendly and approachable. Negative: very strict on early check in and nowhere to sit comfortably and work while waiting for the time between my flight in and my meeting.

Room was nothing like the pics on the net. Room for 3 adults people only to find a fold sofa mattress for the third person was now way was going to be adequate. Room was very run down with old dirty furniture. Asked for another room but hotel was booked due to Ironman. Went as far as look for a different hotel but no luck. Was in formed by the staff that they can not control the furniture in the room as they are own by a third person ( bit of a cop out if you ask me). Sorry Mantra but if you’re going to put your name on the hotel you must have some standards to go by, for all I know if I book a room again (sorry but I won’t on principle) there could have been a tent in the room. ( come on please!) Staff did try to help but was just going to cost more. Better explanation is needed in the description of the room especially if someone else own the room in your building. Mantra hope you take this on as constructive criticism if your selling and showing a pic of a 👟 don't give a out a 🩴. Especially if you have third parties involved.

Firstly, whilst the fine print requires 30 days notices acknowledge. That said when one through medical reasons is unable to fly and or attend the sporting event for which the accommodation was booked and I gave you ~2 weeks' notice, a reasonable expectation is that a goodwill consideration would be offered, instead the hotel directs me to the Central reservation who redirects me to the hotel. After I had no choice but cancel, I still get an involve post as if I did stay and know you ask me to offer a review. You clearly don't know your left from right. You may have stood you ground fobbed me off and stuck to the fine print, but you have a lost a customer for life. Don't expect to hear back, so thanks for nothing

The actual stay was great, but I phoned twice prior to my check in day , speaking to someone each time and emailed before arrival to make sure my husband could check in on my behalf as I was participating in Ironman Cairns. I also asked, if possible, for a slightly earlier check in as he was coming from Palm Cove. Both requests were accepted by the phone calls, with the receptionist saying they had a note on file. When he arrived, he was point blank refused to check in. He even showed the email but was still refused so very poor communication between stafgf on the front desk.

8 days between room service is simply not acceptable, max should be 3 days
