We really enjoyed the style of this hotel. Classy and well kept. The staff in super helpful and very friendly. The location is central to a lot of city highlights, and enough restaurants and cafes to choose from. During our stay there were some events / conventions / business groups. This took away a bit of the magic, and made it feel like a business hotel at times.

Great Location and fantastic F & B staff on Level 2 Restaurant. Quality of the breakfast spread and the attentions provided by the servers were exceptional. However, we had a rather awkward experience withe Social Club Restaurant - they were not willing to be flexible with the free drink voucher and insisted that we must utilise it only at the Social Club bar (literally next to one another!). We cancelled our dinner plans and proceeded elsewhere as the servers overall were not very hospitable. Strange when compared to teh quality of service we get at the restaurant on Level 2. If we ever return to stay at this hotel, we will be sure to ask for a room that is not facing the entertainment outlet across the street. There is a band performing nightly and the sound of the music penetrates the room!
