Cheap hotel but far from Paris

Booked this hotel in advance because I needed to go to La Defense Arena for a concert and this was a few stations away. However, behold because the tickets going to Ruel Malmaison station (10mins walk from hotel) going to Paris is a different ticket and is more expensive than when staying within Paris. The walk to the station is also a bit not recommended if you go back late at night as the road was not well lit. Inside the room - the toilet is separate from the bath and their doors were on both the opposite sides so I had to turn around 360 degrees after using toilet. Bed is not comfortable, I actually think the beds at chic city centre Hostels are way better! Staff are nice. But overall, not gonna go back again.

very small rooms, booked prise is not equal final price. Several colleagues booked in the same time and in the same standard rooms - prices were different. No water in the room. Veeeeryyy limited breakfast for such money which was declared, second day breakfast at 8 am there were no cheese and there were only 2 peaces of ham available (declared time for breakfast - till 10am)

Positive: early breakfast at 6:30 am, good location, clean rooms Negative: not much to choose from in the breakfast buffet, no eggs, no bacon, no warm food, only pastries and cold meats

Nice breakfast, basic room very clean but bed was a bit to hard
