LASARTIST Couples - TripAdvisor review

Stayed a couple of nights, staff were very welcoming loved our upgrade, had a large room and everything we needed, loved all the little extra treats in our room, although don’t like the shower over the bath, it was clean and roomy in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was nice, although our welcome to restaurant was met with a very stressed woman, the food was ok and plenty of choices, i would of liked the food area to be a bit brighter as very dark and little things like teaspoons at tea making area is needed and little mini jugs to take milk to table also little mini ramikins to take jam etc to table would be helpful too. Otherwise a nice experience. Was a short walk to other bars and restaurants and shops

Beautiful hotel, I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks. Very nice staff. The room meets all your needs: clean, nice bathroom, sofa bed, desk for writing, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, iron + ironing board. Breakfast is also very nice and polite staff, plenty of choice with impeccable flavours.

My wife/carer and I stayed one night prior to a conference in a nearby venue. It took us 5 minutes to walk from the station. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout moving us to a quieter room with a walk-in shower. They had flags on their name tags showing that a variety of languages were spoken. We also had dinner, which was available from 1200-2200 and reasonably priced for the city centre at £30 for the two of us without drinks. The food was very tasty. The room also had a desk, sofa bed and large flat screen television. Overall just what we needed

Upon check in, I was given a room already assigned to somebody else. We both had a shock when I let myself in to their room! At 9 months pregnant this made me feel particularly vulnerable/unsafe and despite being allocated a new room and offered a drinks voucher, I did not then feel confident in the hotels safety standards. Due to staying at the hotel for work purposes (and being pregnant) I could not make use of the drinks voucher, and mentioned this to reception who told me 'soft drinks were also available'. Whilst reception were apologetic, this should not have happened in the first place.

It was a great 4 night stay - l was working overnight & was concerned before my stay that the room wouldnt be dark enough during the day for me to rest & that it would be noisy. I needn't have worried. Everything was perfect - l advised front desk when l arrived that l didnt want to be disturbed during the day - & l wasn't. Towels were replaced & bins emptied when l went to work in the evening. I wish l could have stayed for the bottomless brunch - it looked & sounded amazing ! Thank you for making my stay stress free !!
