The hotel did not impress me compared to the many stays I have had in IBIS and Mercure hotels elsewhere - too small, and with out the normal services such as kitchen services throughout the day. My original booking was with the IBIS Cliche Batignolles - I regret deciding to move away from it - I expected the Mercure to be a far better experience

We understand that you were not satisfied with the size of your rooms. I see that you booked two Standard Double Rooms, transparently indicated on our website at a surface area of 12m² and 13m². For a next stay, we invite you to reserve a Privilege room or Privilege suite, more spacious, endowed with a bedding upscale Mercure, and of various services like a Nespresso machine, a free minibar as well, cosmetics, a bathrobe and slippers. Location across the station also means hearing the metro until late in the night and first thing in the morning. Did not sleep much as a result. Room was small (manageable for a transit/ short stay), breakfast was ok.

Our establishment is in fact located in the heart of the capital, and it is true that vibrations from the metro can be felt in certain parts of the hotel, located on the lower floors. Very small room, no upgrade available as Platinum member, hotel price is expensive and not value for money, breakfast standard at lower end, very likely I will not follow the accor Programme any longer, Status does not bring me any value.
