Hondated Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

Disappointed .Stayed here before seven years ago. Had problems parking motorcycles then as we did this time. Unfortunately hotel had a major electrical fault which resulted in staff working late into the evening & has a result a far from tranquil environment in the hotel.

The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our rooms were of adequate size, with the usual superb ibis beds—gloriously comfortable, best night's sleep ever! And they were well-equipped with charging points for electronic items. The shower was excellent, with a good flow and reliable temperature control, not something to be taken for granted. The cleaning staff kept the rooms immaculately clean; and the rooms were always ready by the time we returned at lunch-time, as we requested. The location, just by the station, was convenient. It was a short walk into the city centre, and there were bus and tram stops nearby. We very much enjoyed our stay at this ibis hotel, and look forward to a return visit. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

Close to train station + CNN

Great location near the central train station. A big plus was availability of CNN (and BBC), the only lodging of 11 hotels and two ferries that had this. The Silver member complimentary champagne was another big plus! Close to sites we wanted to visit.
