Be aware of “bed bugs “ in this hotel. We complained about it and even showed them the bug but nothing came back to us and I even wonder how they deal with it ? Pretending that nothing happened ? In this case Ill never stay in any Novotel , such a poor service.

We were offered a room on the 5th floor facing the planes and away from the elevators. The room was very stuffy on entry and didn't improve. The resception desk solution was to open the rooms window! Not good enough! There was no way we could have sleeped in the room with the window open facing the airport tarmac! Not a great night's sleep at all. Also dinner in the restaurant was our worst dinner in our whole 2 weeks of travel in France, very disappointing.

The hotel itself is quite nice and very convenient for spending a night a Charles de Gaulle. However, the heating/air circulation system left the choice of having a room that was like a sauna or having not air at all. What made the experience more maddening was that the management sent up a maintenance person who turned the grill upside down and declared the problem fixed -- it was not. So after a night of discomfort, we left the hotel with the opinion that: 1. Accor hotels have very little interest in making their guests comfortable if it does not suit their purpose (I have had the same experience at an IBIS and an IBIS Styles at CDG which it was imagined upgrading to a NOVOTEL would help.) and 2. Why have a maintenance person "fix" the issue when they clearly did nothing; why not just admit there was nothing the hotel was going to do about it. I suppose in a season when the air-conditioning is working, I would return to the Novotel and hope that the circulation system functioned better in warmer weather.
