I stayed here for a short trip in Paris (April 2024), the hotel is ideal if you want somewhere just to sleep and get a good breakfast before a long day sightseeing or in the city. Staff are very friendly, and was good to speak to them in French (they speak English too if you need to). Very good breakfast, all fresh pastries and good coffee too. The hotel is close to Gare de Nord which is good if you fly in from Charles de Gaulle. The area around the hotel is pleasant, there are a lot of good bars and restaurants as well as a metro station five minutes away (Louis Blanc). Would recommend and would stay again.

This hotel is conveniently located a walking distance from Gare du Nord but not too close. It is also well served by public transports. The room was small and sparsely furnished though. For longer trips it could feel cramped. There weren't even enough hangers for two people. Until we figured out how to pull the plug out completely, the sink in the bathroom drained too slowly. Staff weren't sufficiently trained - they didn't know how to apply my Accor points (and never did) and the guy who typically staffed the reception overnight was prone to asking silly questions (he asked me, in Spanish, Vienes de Madrid? which I barely understood and it was none of his business anyway.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good to be able to come back after a very busy day to be able to buy a small bottle of wine, organic, and very reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and clean, as we have come to expect from the Ibis chain. The hotel is in Zone One and is just 4/5 minutes from Metro Line 2. A word about Parisiens and their poor reputation. Our reception in Paris proved that myth to be completely inaccurate. Without exception, as a long time retired couple, we were offered a seat on the crowded trains every trip. Our suitcases were carried, and every waiter/waitress could not have been more helpful and courteous.
