We enjoyed our stay at Fairmont Breakers! We stayed through the Amex FHR program and were upgraded to a 1 King suite with a pullout sofa bed. The room was very modern and beautifully designed. We really enjoyed the Le Labo amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed the various bars at the hotel as well as its close location to the San Pedro Cruise port. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Fairmont Long Beach during a Christmas trip to Los Angeles with my parents and two kids. Based on our previous positive experiences with Hilton and Hyatt, we had high expectations—but unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. First, the check‑in experience was extremely frustrating. We arrived around 3:00 PM and were told our room was not ready. What followed was over **two hours of waiting in the lobby** with tired elderly parents and sleepy children. We were not able to check into our room until **5:30 PM**, which is the first time I’ve ever experienced such a long delay at a hotel of this level. The stay itself was also a nightmare for our family. There were several basic housekeeping issues, including **empty shampoo bottles** and a **floor that did not appear to be fully cleaned**. However, the most bizarre and disruptive issue happened late at night. While the entire family was sleeping, a **motion‑sensored lamp started turning on and off every few minutes**, accompanied by a clicking noise. This went on repeatedly and woke up everyone in the room. Eventually, I had to **unplug the lamps** just so we could get some rest. While the hotel does have a good location, the overall experience fell far below expectations, especially for a family traveling during the holidays. Based on this stay, I would not choose Fairmont again and would hesitate to recommend it to others, particularly families.

I loved the room. It was the most amazing and up to date room. Everything was very clean and I love the le labo products ! Room was quite but could hear the beep of the elevator sometimes
