Arrived with a group and quick and efficient check in. Room was clean and well appointed and able to park vehicle outside the appointed room. Used the onsite restaurant due to the conveince with a nice meal.

Hotel is good, a bit tired in places as the previous life as the Henty is showing a bit. The double floor with stairs only is a bit of a luggage trap, however worked ok for us. A full on positive is the towels and linen were plush and very good. Onsite dining provided a great opportunity to not have to travel for meals.

Great to actually have an Accor hotel in Regional Victoria. Reception was great and friendly, room was comfortable and quiet with everything we needed for the stay. VEry close to everything you could want in Mt. Gambier. Overall a pleasant stay and we'll be back.

Everything good except that the window in room 37 wouldn’t open. Without it there was no way of generating a current of fresh air through the room. I talked to the receptionist but she said the maintenance man had gone home. Apart from this - all good. Great coffee.

Issues with the room. Toilet door had no latch so couldn’t close. Reported to desk, staff said they would investigate as they couldn’t give us a room with a working door. Staff left a note saying the front door was ok. The front door wasn’t the problem so our issue was not very well taken or resolved. Wasn’t impressed to report to the manager who was in his tracksuit. Felt like we were just an inconvenience but I think anyone would expect a room with a working bathroom door. Cutlery and dishes for one person only. Fridge wasn’t turned on - took ages to get cold.

We are members and chose The Mantra as it had dinning attached. We had dinner there and was surprised of the excellent food and service It was close to town and attractions My only disappointment was the room had old tiles and bathroom facilities but everything else was good.

It was fully booked during school holiday. Good location in the town center. The room was renovated and bed was comfortable, rarely no microwave. Receptionist and restaurant staff were nice and welcome and well notified me the Accor benefits. Something unpleasant happened on check out morning with cleaners. Around 9 am, I felt someone stopped for a few seconds at the window. Then 10 mins later, I literally caught 2 mid-aged female cleaners peeping into my room through the window (even with blinds there is gap can see clearly into the room. Afterwards they kept saying sorry and they just wanna check anyone still in (so they can clean the room? ) I had no idea for what reason they wouldn’t have knocked the door. I passed a short complaint to the lady at reception when checking out.

The room was clean, but a tired. The room didn’t have a comfy couch to sit on as I thought I had seen in the picture. The restaurant was fantastic and exceptional in all food & wine as well as the brilliant service. Compliments to the chef and the leading staff as well as waitresses. The restaurant was very well styled in its layout and aesthetics

It was a great place to stop en route from Melbourne to Adelaide. Room was comfy. Nice bar area and the restaurant, Noky, looked good. We did not try the restaurant as we already had a booking elsewhere but I will definitely try the restaurant next time we pass through this way.
