We perhaps stupidly booked to stay during Ramadan but no warning was made to us that the hotel would basically be empty. Even with a small group staying there the service in the restaurants was pretty dismal, slow, bad food and terrible wine selection. We had to send food back and re order a few times. We tried every restaurant in the complex and it was the same with them all. The prices of the rooms were normal rates despite the season, and the charges for using the hotel taxi service or guided tours were ridiculously high - we used it once when they gave my husband the impression the fee was in Egyptian pound when in fact it was in dollars. A $60 price for a 15min drive, one way, that in a normal uber costs $8. We were so disappointed with the overall experience we left 3 days before our planned check out. We were kindly reimbursed for the nights we had paid in advance that we didn’t stay, but I am still very disappointed. We stayed in other hotels in the group in other countries and had a much more positive experience and th quality was much much higher.

It was very nice experience with Rixox hotel, accomodation very comfortable, staffe very helpfull and kidness. howerver food qulity and varaity in dinner wasnt comply the Rixos level

Hotel restaurants is not up.to level, especially the Italian restaurant which has a very limited menu and not related to Italian cuisine, how come Italian restaurant just serve 3 Pasta plates and doesn't have Pizza menu at all !!
