It was the second time to spend short vacation with rixos group after bad experience with Seagate sharm El sheikh l, actually the accomodations in rixos elmontaza was amazing starting from the check in till check out, in comparison with my favorite place at Caeser bay resort

We had a truly wonderful experience at Rixos Montaza Alexandria, and our stay turned into one of those vacations that you remember for a long time. The location is fantastic, surrounded by the beauty of Montaza and offering stunning views of the Sea and a relaxing atmosphere in addition to the historical vibes of Montazaa gardens. The combination of the scenery, the hotel, and the surroundings makes it a wonderful place for a getaway. The food quality and variety were excellent. There was a great selection throughout our stay, with fresh, delicious, and well-prepared options that catered to different tastes. We were genuinely impressed with the dining experience. But what truly made our vacation special was the people. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and the entire team went above and beyond to make her feel special. Their thoughtful attention and personal touches transformed her birthday into a beautiful and memorable celebration — and made our whole vacation even more enjoyable. A very special thank you to Omar at Reception, who was welcoming, professional, and helpful from the beginning. Jailan from Guest Relations was absolutely great — professional, attentive, and always willing to help. Her positive attitude and genuine care made a real difference to our stay. A very special appreciation goes to Mr. Morsi, a truly professional hotelier who clearly understands hospitality. His attention to detail and personal involvement genuinely turned our stay into a happy and great vacation. People like him are what make the difference between simply staying at a hotel and actually enjoying a memorable experience. And finally, a special thank you to Mr. Wael Shazly, the General Manager, who personally spent more than half an hour with us, warmly welcoming us and taking the time to explain the hotel’s upcoming plans, developments, and expansions. His passion for the property and his vision for taking Rixos Montaza to the next level were very impressive. He even encouraged us to come back and experience the hotel at the new level they are working toward — and after our experience, we would genuinely be happy to do so. It was refreshing to see a General Manager personally engaging with guests and taking the time to listen, welcome, and share the future vision of the hotel. Beautiful location, breathtaking views, excellent food, and an exceptional team — but most importantly, genuine hospitality. I had a really good time in the hotel, lots of places to see around, nice pool, good breakfast, and i had an overall enjoyable experience with rixos, and the staff were nice enough to let me extend my checkout time because i was leaving later than usual.

The best place in Alexandria

The hotel has a great location, and the room itself was good, especially the beds, which were comfortable. However, unfortunately, the overall level of service did not meet the standard I have come to expect from Rixos. I have stayed at several Rixos hotels in different locations, and compared with my previous experiences, this was the lowest level I have experienced so far. In particular, the bathroom cleaning and overall housekeeping need significant improvement. On our first day, we also noticed that the bed sheets were not properly clean and had lipstick residues on them. We contacted the hotel, and the sheets were changed, but this should not have happened in the first place, especially for a hotel of this standard. The buggy transportation service between the different locations within the property also needs to be more efficient. The waiting time and availability could be improved to provide a smoother guest experience.

It was a great experience overall, with wonderful hospitality, super kind staff, and very good service. There are just a couple of areas for improvement: The public bathroom at Nariman, next to the beach, needs more frequent and consistent housekeeping throughout the day. It is not clean. The second area is the food variety. More options would definitely enhance the overall experience. The Italian restaurant, in particular, felt quite far from authentic Italian cuisine. Considering the standards expected from Rixos, I believe more variety and better-quality food options would complete an otherwise great experience.

I am so disappointed about the tow days stay as my expectations about Rixos as a luxurious high standard service was really damaged The room had a strong, bad smell from the AC, despite several complaints, and the AC remained very noisy even on the lowest fan speed. Sleeping was terrible The wall paint beside the bed was damaged due to humidity looks very bad like an old low class building The room shower cabinet and shower unit were in terrible condition, making the shower experience very unpleasant. I repeatedly reported these issues to the receptionist, who tried to help by sending technicians, but unfortunately, nothing was resolved. Room wasn’t clean the carpet for instant was dirty Restaurant AC was leaking water on all tables across the window side and even the floor was slippery all the time of the stay breakfast and dinner even I notified the staff Beach and sea is not recommended to use without footwear as too many construction waste even glass was on the first meters of the water and too many rocks that can make injuries The life guard is the only one responsible for towels which very strange and violates the safety measures No beach walking path to avoid the walking on the sand

Everyone from the front desk to the cleaners were courteous, smiled and exchanged pleasantries. The location of the beach front with the soft sound of breaking waves helped make our stay more enjoyable. Food varieties at the Turquoise and quality of all offered items was truly impressive

I stayed at Rixos Alexandria Montazah with my family and the experience was well below expectations. With the Rixos name I expected a genuine 5-star property. What I got felt like a 3–4 star hotel at best — average at nearly everything. THE NARIMAN 2 BUILDING IS NOT READY FOR GUESTS At reception, Mr. Omar assured me the rooms in Nariman 2 were better because they were new. When I entered the room I found the opposite: the building is still under construction and workers were still active inside. Half the rooms are still being worked on and the other half still have problems. Guests should not be checked into a building in that condition. ROOM PROBLEMS (across the rooms my family and I were given) - Ants and small insects - Sand on the floor and on the beds - One room had a leaking bathroom - Another room had a power socket that didn't work - Stains everywhere; bathrooms not clean - Visible snagging/defect marks that should have been closed out before handover - Paint marks on the walls - No drying rack - No towels or water in the room — we had to request them - Cheap, poor-quality furnishings - Air conditioning extremely loud — impossible to sleep with it running - Balcony lighting very bright and cannot be switched off ARRIVAL AND SERVICE - No one received us on arrival and no one took our luggage - I was first sent to Nariman 1 (the old building), then told to go to the new one — with no one to guide me or carry the bags. You end up chasing staff to get anywhere. - At Nariman 2, the receptionist didn't tell me where the rooms were, which floor, or anything else - No signage on any floor showing room numbers or directions — very easy to get lost - Most staff are new. Almost every question got the same answer: "I don't know, it's my first day / first week." FACILITIES - The building has essentially no facilities because it is still under construction - Kids' area and spa not operating - Loud music at night that is genuinely disturbing WHAT WAS GOOD - The beach is clean and well organized — the best part of the stay, though there is no service on it - Breakfast was good UPDATE: Customer service called and offered us an upgrade to all-inclusive for our last night to make up for the experience. I appreciate the gesture and it was handled courteously, but it doesn't change the core issue — the Nariman 2 building is unfinished and guests are being placed in it regardless. BOTTOM LINE: Nariman 2 is not recommended at all. This is not the Rixos standard I know internationally — poor management and a 3–4 star experience in practice. I would not return.

We arrived at 3 PM & received the room at 4 PM !! Checkout we requested the baggage service at 12PM and he came on 12:45 PM Extremely unprofessional staff ,dinner food policy is not applied on all the guests I am the only one in the restaurant on Friday night wearing the half board bracelet & the restaurant was filled with only breakfast guests & they were treated like us. Some of restaurant staff treat us like we stay for free !!

It was a good experience, but the check in was late, it should be 3 PM however our check in was 5:30 PM
