there was no one in the front door for the hotel to help when checking in, from desk stuff are friendly like Rania. the hotel is nice from the facilities point, but from the service point is very poor. breakfast area is crowded, omelet station you can wait for 15 m till you turn. other than the front desk i did not feel the hospitality was on point. i went to other hotels in Alexandria 5 stars cheaper by 25 up to 30 % and they were more professional. at our second day there was electrical shortage, electeristy used to go on and off for 2 hours. the breakfast bakery was not fresh looks like it was from the day before. overall it was not a good experience with the chain. i dont think i would spend money again in this hotel. even for launch, our pervious stay in Nairman , we went to whats called " Italian restaurant" which is not italian at all, poor menu, noisy late, order came wrong, we asked for well done steak and came rare with blood. and my wife is diabetic , she took her insulin shot waiting to eat her food which came more than one hour. the design of the kitchen was extremely bad, i can hear the workers inside banging forks and knives. so in order to avoid this kind of service, we went to have launch outside twice. the premises is beautiful , location is perfect, the private beach is more than perfect. but the staff are not up to the standards for this beautiful place. can you imagine even in Nariman, they have the coffee machine that grinds coffee and make espresso, the machine was there and the coffee was there but no barrista to use the machine. instead of bringing musician to play music at morning , bring a barrista who will serve expresso. even the bar behind Nariman front desk when we went there it was empty no one to ask to make us an order. people who are working in the beach area the came late after 9.30 to serve towels. there were supposed to be working since breakfast time was operating. also there the bathrooms are far away from the swimming area and pools.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rixos Montaza , every thing os matching my expectations and more , The hotel view is wonderful facing the sea , many rooms varieties in 4 buildings , breakfast buffet is one of the most delicious ever , I was lucky to meet Mr Morsi Mostafa ( front office manager ) and I was lucky for my room to be upgraded to a suite with beach front view , also I have to thank Mariam in the reception ,, And many thanks to Sylvia in guest relation , when she knew that the stay is for engagement anniversary , quickly she sent a cake and make a very nice room decorations . Finally . If the destination is Alexandria , Rixos montaza will be the destination ,

The room is unclean and the security guards are uncooperative. The food is very poor quality and cold, and they serve expired orange juice. The parking attendants are disorganized. The room's location on the beach allows boat crews to hear loud noises coming from it, and the reception staff are unresponsive to any attempts to explain the situation. I contacted the receptionist multiple times, but there was no answer

We recently booked two rooms at Rixos Montaza, and I would like to share some feedback that I believe could help enhance the overall experience and meet the high expectations associated with the Rixos brand. 1. Hotel Contact: It was quite difficult to reach the hotel by phone before arrival. I believe having a dedicated and responsive call center is essential to assist guests with their inquiries. 2. Room Upgrade: Marina from Reception was very helpful and upgraded our room after the first night, as we had complained about the loud noise from the air conditioning. We really appreciated her support and professionalism. 3. La Comtesee Restaurant: The restaurant is listed as part of the Soft All-Inclusive package, but when we visited, the waiter (Karim) informed us that it was not included in our category. We waited quite a long time while he checked with the team, and the order took a long time to arrive. It would be great to have clearer communication regarding restaurant inclusions to avoid confusion. 4. Water Bottles Policy: We were surprised to learn that only two bottles of water per day are provided. This is unexpected for a 5-star hotel, especially since Rixos Cairo does not have such a policy. Considering we were staying with elderly parents, easier access to water would be highly appreciated. 5. Staff Training: Some of the staff seemed unsure about the hotel facilities and the differences between Half Board and Soft All-Inclusive packages. Additional training in this area would help them provide more accurate information to guests. 6. Room Maintenance: The rooms could use more attention from the engineering team, as we noticed broken tiles, loose sanitary fittings, and air conditioning noise. Overall, our stay was nice and peaceful, and the entertainment shows were truly outstanding. We appreciate the hospitality and hope to see some of these improvements implemented during our next visit to Rixos Montaza.
