Goodness, how does one put this in writing ? I initially walked past the entrance three times thinking “surely it can’t be down an industrial alleyway ?”. It can and is. If anyone seriously tries to advertise this place as a 4-star hotel with a straight face, then they are having a lend of themselves. You enter via a reception that is more akin to checking into a parole office. The reception area overpowers you with a smell like an excessive amount of Domestos floor and tile cleaner used undiluted. The single lift for guests is interminably slow to properly correct itself to the floor level before the doors open. I thought the two industrial dumpsters within 7 metres of the front door provided added charm. Along with the approximately one million cigarette butts disposed of in the sparse vegetation near the door. On entering the room, the fridge door wouldn’t close and I had to defrost the freezer to close it. There were skid marks in the toilet bowl. The carpet was absolutely filthy. On the plus side it was very quiet and the mattress was surprisingly good. I slept well. It wasn’t all bad news.

Okay so this is not Accors Crown jewel establishment, more like a jewel you'd find in a Christmas cracker. The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial park. The hotel entrance is through a basement carparks and your feel more like you're checking into a car park as opposed to a hotel. The check in process was seamless enough, but then you discover the true hotel. Firstly there is only one lift to service the place. It is dated and in need of some serious maintenance. For example one of the handrails in the lift had broken off and appears to have been this way for quite some time. You arriving at our room, our access to our room was blocked by dirty laundry bags. After climbing over them we accessed our room. A reasonable sized two bedroom room, but Addison in die need of some TLC. The room is dated and visibly dirty. The curtains have not been cleaned or serviced which is evident by the rails sagging down in every room, and in one room they didn't close. The arms of the couch have visible dirt and stains, likewise the carpet is on the same tattered chubbier. Again a good stream clean is in order. Despite have a full kitchen (stove, cook top and microwave) cutlery and crockery is a challenge. We had a four person room and the cutlery consisted of 12 x spoons, 4 x knives, 2 x forks and a single teaspoon. Likewise the cookery consisted of 6 x dinner plates, 2 x bowls, 2 x coffee cups and an alsortment of glasses. Unless you plan on having staggered meal times makes it a bit challenging. The bathrooms were clean (phew) but again the complementary soaps and shampoos needed replenishing. Being a member of the Accor loyalty program has no benefits. Being a gold member entitled you to complimentary welcome drinks, a late check out, a welcoming gift, complimentary room upgrade etc. None of these are applicable at this hotel. On the upside it is quiet and there is minimal road noise. In the morning we were given the traditional Australian welcome with cockatoos sitting on the balcony.

Dont assume you can work on your computer at this hotel!

This hotel is situated in a business area, so you would expect the room to cater for business travelers. Not so! Our queen room had one chair - a large cushiony armchair. Ideal for a nap.Not an ergonomic chair that would fit at the desk provided! Why would you have a room for two people but only provide one chair - and a totally unsuitable chair? We asked at reception and were told all rooms were like this. A staff member begrudgingly gave us a plastic dining room chair. Do not assume the rooms here are suitable for working on a computer.

No aircon or fan in one bed room , the air needs to flow from the aircon which is in the living room. not enough cutlery and the cleaning service staff started cleaning without knowing that the guest is still in the room.

Inicialmente, fomos enganados pelas fotos que não condiz com a realidade. Longe do centro que para ter acesso vai andar de carro uns 40 minutos em auto pista a um custo de 160 dólares. Chegamos ao (hotel) as 23:00 horas. O acesso é por uma viela horrível. Ninguém na portaria. Nossa sorte foi uma das moradoras ter levado o cachorro para fazer pipi e nos enxergou- chamou alguém e me aparece uma senhora de pijamas e descalça para o check-in. Moradora, porque se trata de um apart hotel. Quarto ruim, mal cheiroso, carpete gasto e todo manchado, enfim, um horror. O café da manhã pago se resumia em uma torrada e café de máquina preparado por você. Para se ter acesso ao café, vc precisa retirar uma chave. Resumindo, nossa reserva era para 6 noites e deixamos o hotel no primeiro dia. Mais, esperamos ser reembolsados, fomos vítimas de propaganda enganosa.
