Our 'de luxe King' room seems pretty good but, I have to say, on Expedia it said there was "self-parking available" but it did not say "this is going to cost you AUD 40 per night". Normally I do not mind paying for parking, after all it is occupying valuable real estate, but if they had been upfront with the charge we may have picked a different, out of town hotel where parking is free. Also, since Novotel have subcontracted it out it was annoying to have to go online, fill in a ton of details (credit card number, home address, phone number, inside leg measurement etc which the hotel already has) just for the privilege of being stiffed AUD 40.00 to park the damn car overnight!

We stayed for two nights, I’m an ALL silver member and on check in there was zero recognition of this, sounds super snobby but I stick to Accor branded hotels to build this status and enjoy its perks. Generally on checkin as a silver you get a drinks voucher per person staying, this was not the case here. The bathroom was absolutely feral, the tiles were also super slippery when wet including in the shower. There was a broken lamp in the room, a cupboard that wouldn’t close and a few other bits of wear around the room that really should be addressed. We slept in on Sunday morning and had the “do not disturb” sign on our door, we went out around 1200 and I flipped the sign to say it was ready to be cleaned, despite the fact we did this, the room wasn’t made up, we came back briefly and discovered this, we headed out again (in a rush so no time to stop at reception) and when I had a chance to call I tried to see if reception could arrange to have it fixed but I got fed up after sitting on hold for nearly 10min without the call getting answered and gave up. The shining light for this hotel was the meal I ordered from room service, at $28 I feel it was reasonably priced, the Paneer Masala with fresh roti was absolutely delicious. The hotel is also in a great spot for the L4 light rail, couple of steps out the door to the platform and only a few minutes down to Parramatta Station.

Professionnalisme et courtoisie des personnels remarquables. Prestations parfaites dans la chambre (2 bémols quand même par rapport aux photos du site : la chambre supérieure avec lit kingsize n'est pas équipée d'un divan ou sofa comme fait voir sur les photos du site Novotel, il y a des serviettes mais pas de peignoirs dans les chambres) : ménage et lit fait tous les jours, changement des serviettes quotidien. Piscine et ses abords agréables (dommage qu'elle ne soit pas couverte), serviettes de bains à disposition. Salle de gym avec distributeur d'eau fraîche. Petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet, très varié et très copieux. Eau et pommes en libre service à la réception. Possibilité de garer sa voiture en sous-sol, service de taxi.

Le novotel Parramatta est très bien situé, proche des restaurants et du grand centre commercial. Les chambres sont confortables et propres seul bémol le bruit (très supportable). Le personnel est très accueillant nous avons rencontré un agent de la maintenance (Arnel camaga) il a pris le temps pour nous faire la liste des possibilités et visites vraiment au top !!

Un bon petit Novotel. Les chambres sont correct avec une bonne literie et la salle de bain est tout à fait correct. L'hôtel est situé près de la rue des restaurants donc pas de problème pour les repas. Pour le petit déjeuner un buffet correct est disponible à l'hôtel. Accueil correct et parking possible.
