Pullman Sydney Penrith

Spent 3 nights here and a great hotel. Nice room, good bed and bathroom. Loved the free undercover parking and the sauna was very nice. Breakfast was very good and Jackie was very helpful. Had dinner there and also very good. Close to the Panthers club and we will be back for sure.

The hotel was nice however we experienced a number of teething problems which we put down to the newness of the hotel & an overall lack of attention to detail from the staff. Overall, I would rate the hotel as 4 star, not 5 star. Hopefully our experiences will help other guests: - Lovely room (a suite) however we were surprised that the only TV was in the bed section rather than having one in the sitting section of the room. - We found the bed section of the room to be too cold as the aircon pooled in that section. We increased the temperature which then made the rest of the room stuffy. - There was a door leading to an interconnecting room which was unlocked on our side. - The knob in the shower to switch from the rainwater head to the wand was stuck & could not be moved. - We were disappointed with the selection of 4 complementary coffee pods in the room. There was 1 normal coffee pod & 3 flavoured pods which were probably left untouched by the previous guests. When my wife asked if we could have some normal coffee pods delivered, the receptionist said we might have to pay for the extra pods as they were complimentary. The receptionist said she would check with housekeeping. Eventually more coffee pods were delivered, but again most of the replacement pods were flavoured pods, not normal flavoured pods which we had asked for. - There was a partly full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, no spares, so we had to resort to using a nearly empty box of tissues... - I can't remember ever staying in a hotel before that did not have a pen & a small notepad in it. I doubt we will stay at the Pullman Penrith hotel any time soon. The Mercure (which is located in the same precinct) offers better service & attention to detail.

This hotel is excellent. Will definitely stay again. Runs rings around the Mercure at Penrith.

Fantastic check in. Great staff. Lovely breakfast. Location can’t be beaten. Luxurious super clean rooms.

Well located, good stay, awesome staff. Small hiccup at the start but the young lady had it sorted. RFID tag was very fiddly, the only let down
