Resort very good. Breakfast fresh and enjoyable. Restaurants ok. Well priced bars. Overall a pleasant environment. However……..Housekeeping was non existent!!!!!!! Arrived and had to wait for room to be checked by housekeeper, not a big issue I thought. Entered the room and it was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed, there were hairs and a toenail by the bed. There were splash marks up the mirrored wardrobe door. The glasses were disgusting.The bathroom floor had a mound of dirt. Now to the BIGGIE….the toilet seat had been left up and was filthy!!!! Went to reception and very nicely explained my issues, the male receptionist apologised and assured me he would deal with my request of getting the room recleaned. On returning an hour later the room was still the same. Again went to reception and was assured the room would be sorted within the next 1/2 hour. An hour later we returned and yes the dirt on the bathroom floor had been cleaned up. The toilet lid had been put down, toilet bowl still dirty🤢🤢🤢Glasses not been washed, wardrobe door still had splashes down it and as for the hairs and toenail by the bed, well wouldn’t surprise me if still there. So after checking in at 2.15pm the room was more or less the same at 5pm. That was day 1, now day 2…..we went for a walk, did some shopping, had lunch out, a pleasant day enjoying being child free (being foster carers this is very rare). Returned to the room 5 1/2hours later and you’ve probably guessed it, yes the room had not been serviced. The room attendant did eventually turn up at 4.50pm. She apologised for being so late. I asked for clean towels and said it didn’t matter cleaning the room at this late hour. Plus the poor lady looked absolutely wrecked. Day 3 we decided to have a lie in as the weather was terrible. We put do not disturb sign on the door. At 11am we turned the sign around to please service room. I saw 2 ‘maids’ on the landing so thought we were in luck and the room would be ready when we came back at 3pm. WRONG…..there were also 2 other rooms with the please service sign on so thought the maid was running late again. We waited till 5pm to ring reception and were told housekeeping had finished for the day and we had do not disturb sign on the door. Explained yes we did up until 11am. We got clean towels and bed linen delivered. I make my own bed at home daily, I don’t come on holiday to put clean sheets on!!! Day 4 the day of our departure…… we had a 12pm checkout as our flight back to South Australia did not depart till late afternoon. I put the do not disturb sign on the door. At 10.45 a knock at the door for our room to be cleaned. Only a few days late I thought. My question is, how come they knocked that morning but not the day before???? Being an Accor member this is the worst hotel I have stayed in within the Accor group. I have never left a bad review ever but this time I felt people need to know about the hygiene of this hotel.

The room was gorgeous and the bathroom was stunning. The view of the beach was good. Breakfast was outstanding, it even included blue cheese. The pools looked great.

Check in didn't go well the room wasn't ready on time, but Gorden at desk helped out and gave us a upgrade, He was the most helpful person at reception
