I really enjoyed my week-long stay at the ibis Styles Kyoto Shijo. The location was in close proximity to various bus and train stations, as well as to several restaurants. The staff showed exemplary service and were always kind and helpful. My room was made up nicely every time I requested for room keeping and I had a comfortable stay during my time there.

We were a family of 4, and we booked 2 rooms here. Even though we arrived late into the night, around 23:00, they accommodated us and let us check in. The rooms were great! They were well-lit, had enough space for us and all our luggage, and while they could be cooler temperature-wise, they were sufficiently cool. We also appreciate the provision of toiletries and daily bento breakfasts. The fact that this was very close to a bus stop was a huge bonus! Definitely will be staying here again if I’m ever in Kyoto in the future.
