The hotel is fabulous and the even the small standard rooms feel luxurious. Where it was let down was 1) The cooked breakfast was average at best so for the price was very disappointing. 2) Charged £7.50 (Plus 12.5% service charge) for an Irish Coffee when the barperson obviously had no idea how to make one. 3) The fact that 12.5% service charge is automatically added to the price of already expensive drinks/meals. 4) Having paid for breakfast when booking in I was then presented with a second bill at my table. (which funnily enough was 12.5% more than I had paid). All in all just left with a slight feeling of disappointment despite how excellent the hotel is, or could be.
