Overall the location is good and the beach is incredible even though its on lagoons, but there were too many operational mistakes and slow in terms of service. Prices of service is a bit over and can be relooked at.

One of the lamp wire was exposed under the carpet, my daughter stepped direct on it and all villa electricity was off!!

We faced some problems first is that our bags were 3 hours late and we booked a Padel court and they told us that there is a prince that booked so we can’t let you play now then they told us that they were gonna refund our money and still didn’t get it and the room service it took them an hour to deliver chicken strips and Spanish late and at the swimming area there was barely anybody to come take our orders and the bathroom toilet there was a bad smell and there were flies coming out of the sink on the floor and compared to the other resorts they give free water at the pool while at sls you have to pay

The service was unbelievably slow, in an unacceptable manner, and more often than not they completely forget or ignore any of our requests. I know it's a busy time (Eid), but having basic inquiries and requests unaccounted for is unacceptable. Even basic things like restaurant reservations (which we made 2 weeks in advance), buggy requests, inquiries and quesrions, were not honoured and completely ignored. This is a real shame considering the hotel is beautifully placed in the gorgeous red sea area with a wonderful lagoon, and carries the SLS name. We will definitely be coming back again but will consider other options on Shoura if the Service issues persist. The front desk staff were very friendly but clearly overwhelmed and need a bit more training to reach the level of service excellence and standard that guests expect. Also I noticed most of the staff were overworked for extreme hours, which may have added to the slow and unresponsive service.

The hotel is nice, staff is mostly nice too however there are fundamental issues that need to be resolved: - Accurate information across hotel staff. Each staff member would give you a different answer about the same issue in question. - shortage in staff vs guest. - The restaurant down next to the pool that has shisha, has one of the worst service i have seen in my life.
