The ibis is nice, I believe going through a refurbishment. I stayed in one of the new rooms, which was modern and comfortable. The staff where friendly and not bad food. Only downside was finding the right bus to the hotel from T5, it wasn’t the H5D as told by the hotel and the hotel hopper website but the H5A and tell the driver where you going. But no fault of the hotel.

Well located, average stay

The staff were delightful, the room was adequate but what we paid for. The bottom sheet was laid double on the mattress so we had to take it off and make the bed. The shower was good. We were appalled by the café menu. Not a veg or salad to be seen. Deeply depressing if burgers and pizzas are all your guests want to eat. The starters were t exactly appetising either.

Not a good stay

After I had paid for breakfast I was told that I did not pay when I was about to have breakfast in the morning I was very embarrassed I was then told to bring my proof of payment I went down my room then the room refused to open with the card I was given I have to go back down to get the card activated again it was a mess wasn't happy at all at the end I show my proof

Better than some non-budget hotels

We've never had a bad experience with Ibis Budget and this stay at their Heathrow T5 hotel was no exception. Most notable was the helpfulness of the staff which was probably the best we've ever received. Courteous and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. For example, at breakfast, the only hot food choice for my wife (who is veggie) was beans and scrambled egg. When she asked if there was anything else, the chef immediately offered to cook some veggie sausages for her. Overall the food was excellent too. The evening before, I had probably one of the best burgers ever, and my wife loved her meal too; it's not easy to please a vegetarian! As usual the Ibis Budget room was bright, well appointed and comfy. We will definitely be back.

Good location for Heathrow

The hotel was acceptable and the room was clean and tidy with minimal noise. The problem at the moment is getting to airport hotels after a certain time, and the taxi fare is a flat £25.

Better than expected - very clean but small room

SIgnage from the street so small as to be almost impossible to see especially in the dark. Slow check in process. Room is small but very clean. Good lighting and temperature control. Better than expected for the price.

Good stay after BA cancelled my flight
