Cheap hotel good for terminal 5. Bar and restaurant ok. Rooms and public areas a little tired. Comfy bed. A few minor problems in the room but for the price paid were acceptable. Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus is not free and is not suitable for early morning flights. Does not start until 5am.

Well located for motorway and airport; good stay as always but a few tweaks needed since change of ownership

I would start by saying that the booking system needs a few tweaks - we weren’t able (or I couldn’t find where) to state that we were travelling with our dog so had to exchange emails after booking and pay the additional fee on arrival (after the booking payment was taken as we travelled down). We have stayed at this hotel since it opened - we stay there when visiting family and friends as it’s equidistant between the two and easy access to the motorway to and from home. It was interesting to see the changes that have been and are still being made. The bar/cafe has had a much-needed upgrade and the abstract look is nice. The rooms have been updated with new decor and bathroom flooring and shower screens (thus proving how often we’ve visited in that we notice these things!). Another bonus to staying here is that the breakfast times have always been longer to accommodate the movements of air travellers and crew, but is also ideal for lazy visitors like us who don’t want to rush for an early 2-hour slot! It is now even longer, from 4am to 10.30! That being said, the hot breakfast was a bit disappointing as the scrambled eggs were very dry and the bacon a tad anaemic - I appreciate the latter is personal taste but a few more minutes under the grill/in the pan wouldn’t hurt. The choice of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and beans was a bit limited - maybe because of the pandemic and limited number of customers, but before there was also mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns do more variation. Hot food was served up by staff while the rest was self-service, but we stuck with cereals and pastries for the remainder of our stay. The room as ever was comfortable and while it wasn’t serviced by housekeeping during our stay because of Covid restrictions, we were able to get supplies on demand from reception. It may have been useful to add a few more bin liners to the room, although we were given 2 black sacks on request but otherwise it got very untidy very quickly. Presumably these things will also change with the lifting of restrictions although it wasn’t clear. Another issue was that there was only one lift working which given that the official capacity for the remaining lift was one person. Car parking is ample although the multi-storey was closed, again presumably because of the reduced capacity and one definite bonus was the reduction in car parking costs - £12 for the week instead of £8 for 24 hours. Also free/inclusive WiFi was appreciated along with upgraded TVs although the ability to use a sleep timer would be useful instead of removing some of the functionality. The only other thing I would say by way of negative feedback is that the bins which used to be outside the entrance doors have been removed, which as a dog-friendly hotel isn’t helpful as there was nowhere else nearby to dispose of waste and clearly we weren’t going to dispose of it in the room! Reception staff said I could give it to them to dispose of but that didn’t seem fair - fortunately there was a skip at the side of the building so rightly or wrongly I put it in there. Please reinstate the bins, not only for this but for all the cigarette ends unsurprisingly discarded on the ground as well as other litter around the car park! We stay at the hotel for our convenience but would recommend it to anyone for ease of access to the motorway, and the airport. It’s a bit out of the way and in the middle of industrial units but served by the Heathrow shuttle buses and visible (just) from the M25.

Under the current Covid-19 circumstances, things were well-organised and effectively run. Reception staff, the lady in charge of catering that evening, and other members of staff that we dealt with were very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Pleasant staff , close to airport, room adequate, ( no phone), soundproofing from road noise and aircraft was poor compared to other airport hotels. Only one lift working which made a mockery of Covid security with people jumping in the lift at each level

I’ve now stayed in this hotel 3 times. The first time I stayed I couldn’t believe how clean and new the room was. I even took photos to send back to my wife. The price was crazy £37 for the night. That’s amazing for London and so this was going to be the hotel for me. I was on the 5th floor. Plus the parking was £5 absolutely brilliant I was really pleased. I was told the prices would go up in peak seasons though which is understandable. I didn’t have dinner in the hotel on my first stay. 2nd stay again price £33 because I joined accor I got so much off again £5 parking. Room was fantastic 3rd floor I think it was clean and new. I decided to have dinner from the menu. I thought it was a great idea ordering from the app and from the table number. Just wish the food was as good. I had fish and chips with peas and 2 cokes. As soon as I saw the plate that came out I knew instantly the fish was frozen. It tasted terrible and I couldn’t eat it. £21 for fish and chips and 2 cokes isn’t over priced but I do think it should be edible. Was really disappointed if I’m totally honest about it. My 3rd stay there my most recent I decided to take in a Burger King and I wasn’t to happy with that either. No ice in drink and it was flat no fizzy at all. My room this time wasn’t the best I stayed in 211 and it wasn’t the same type of room that I ordered the last two times. I wanted a room with just a double bed in it like the previous rooms I’ve had but I got a double bed with 2 single beds. I remember when I was booking online I was asked if I wanted the double or the double with two beds I said I just wanted the double. As well as that the room was tired looking not as good as the previous stays. Wasn’t to happy about the comfort of the double bed either. Listen it was £40 this time and £12 for parking still amazing and I will still be going back.

Poor you forgot abou8t in restaurant have rung to discuss our stay with Manager either refused to take call and never returned my call. To discuss lack of pillow and not allowed a forth and no toilet roll so had to use one downstairs in bar area in middle of night not good under covid rules etc.

The only problem was the lack of TV. I arrived late on Friday to find that the TV wasn't working. I reported the fact on Saturday morning. The TV was still not working on Saturday evening. The staff said they would give me a new room, but I was too tired to bother with the hassle.

Clean hotel, not the best location but fine as somewhere to stay overnight. The restaurant was fine, decent food and drink options but service was lacking, I didn't like that they encourage the use of the table service app (for social distancing) but then still let people stand at the bar. We waited a considerable time for drinks because those people were given priority. There is a good pub around the corner though so we went there. Overall the stay was fine for the price so no complaints.

It was a clean bed for the night. Dirty shower curtain. Greeted at reception with “you have to pay for parking otherwise you will be clamped or given a fine” - not the best first impression after a very long journey. There was no sign of parking charges mentioned on the Accor website for this hotel. No discretion used by duty manager- very disappointing.

The hotel itself was fine, possibly ex-Travel Lodge judging from fixture and fittings. We arrived by tube at Terminal 5 and the taxis would only take us at a fixed price of £25. In the morning we took a £5.50 hotel bus which runs hourly.
