Good but no consideration to frequent clients

Hello, Just arrived yesterday, saw 3 things weird: -reception said that breakfast is not included despite i paid for it -no welcome drink, have to ask for it and they said "there is no welcome drink here" -no proposition upgrade (might arrive if not available, but very often i m upgrade) They charged me at the bar my drink.. Usually,i don t have to ask for it; So no consideration to platinium in this hotel (maybe you can remove "welcome drink " on the app) soon diamond, think will be the same for this hotel despite an exoensive cost. Cordially.

My Last Stay at Faena Was Unlike Any Other

Faena is my go to spot in Miami, but this experience was set apart from any other, and I attribute it all to their exceptional Butler Team. I mean EXCEPTIONAL! William and Marvelous made my experience beyond anything I could have possibly asked for. Not only are they both worldly and culturally informed (they taught me a lot), but they pay attention to the tiniest of details in the warmest hearted of ways. They are so incredibly thoughtful and insightful, the way they care about their guests in incomparable to any Faena employees I've ever interacted with before. And I mean that with love, as I love Faena, but staffing and execution in other departments of this hotel is a huge area of opportunity. And I say that as someone who has hosted 6 figure executive offsites on this property, and had a number of issues. If William and Marvelous could have just coordinated the entirety of LY's offsite, I would have been so much better off. Can't thank those two enough, they set this experience apart from any other I've had there.

Los Fuegos: an experience to not be missed

We had the most stunning evening at Los Fuegos last night. The intimate decor and Tuesday night crooner show brings you back in time. The menu delights with its classics such as the rib eye and surprises with dishes like the beet carpaccio. While the food is delicious, Faena’s incredible staff are a highlight for me. Stephen offered outstanding service throughout the evening: attentive and kind, he didn’t miss a beat.

Miami Beach local here but stayed at the hotel for a few days for a wedding. One of the most spectacular experiences I’ve had. A+ service, especially Luis at the front was extremely helpful. Restaurants were top notch as well. Excited to come back! Jared

Disappointed

I have to say, I was honestly super disappointed in my experience at Faena South Beach, especially with a rack room rate of about 2000$ per night for a standard room. The good: the property is overall very nice and well done , the rooms are fine (water pressure just ok) and the rooms were quiet which is always a big thing in my book - who wants to hear other rooms during your stay? Food and drink were relatively good. Jordan at the bar outside was great. The bad: we unfortunately checked in during a huge wedding weekend. The hotel should not have accepted guests during this time, it was a huge production. We physically could not use the pool on Saturday during our 3 night stay and were restricted on where to eat and drink during our entire time there. When we complained we were told that we should have received communication about this prior (no mention at check-in by the way) but we had not. It was not until we had complained 2 days into the trip that we received an itinerary about what was closed during the rest of our stay with a bottle of sancere “to enhance our stay”. The entire thing was ridiculous and that fact that the hotel took zero accountability was highly disappointing. I have worked in luxury hospitality as the publisher of Condé Nast traveler , and serve on the board for a major luxury hotel group. Not only have i never experienced anything like this, i would never expect a luxury resort to ever treat guests this way. We got a 200$ credit at the end of our stay - so the equivalent of a free lunch at the beach (that we were forced to eat at!) It’s a shame because I really wanted to like the property, was excited to go and experience it, but they fell very flat in all aspects when it came to managing this situation. While i understand completely that the priority should be where the money is (the wedding) they should have either closed the hotel entirely during this event or at least find a way to manage the guests staying there that is acceptable at this price point.
