I have stay many times at Aigle Noir over the last 30 years when visiting a partner company in the local area, and it is always a comfortable stay in a location near great restaurants, and parks. During this stay, the room was comfortable as usual (great bed) and updated bathroom. In room coffee and safe are essential. There were several things that could be improved. I would prefer more english speaking TV channels, especially news channels such as Fox News, National Desk, or CNBC. Also, in my room, the only English language news channel, BBC, was not available on the main room TV, only the bathroom TV. The desk has sufficient room, but there could be a power strip added to allow charging for computer, phone, watch, earbuds. I had to move the lamp, and plug things all around the room to charge my devices. I also noticed a foul smell near the elevator and in the stairwell. I think you need some ventilation. I

The Aigle Noir is my favorite hotel in Fontainebleau. It is conveniently located to many shops, restaurants and parking. It has an outstanding breakfast and bar. The rooms have tremendous charm and are well equipped and comfortable. The staff is always welcoming and helpful.
