Nice hotel, but rooms facing the court deal with the noise from other rooms when windows are open. Staff were young and not particularly polite or formal.

Dear M K., We sincerely thank you for your comment which will certainly help us in our improvement. You were globally pleased by your stay. Nevertheless, we are sorry to learn that your room, facing the court yard, did not suit you. Indeed, our staff tries to assign these ones as much as possible for the confort of our ghests, so they do not hear the noises from the street. Furthermore, the proximity of the rooms, in any hotel, makes it hard to not have any sound, mostly when the windows are opened. We would also like to apologise for the apparently poor welcome you received. It is essential to us to offer the same services regardless of our ghests' style or age. Then, if you do not want to have your room cleaned you just have to attach to your door handle our paper saying "Do not disturb", overwise the chamber maids will automatically come. Lastly, we would have loved to help you more during your stay and would like to make you reconsider your opinion on our hotel. We are staying at your entire disposal to organise your future stays ! situation and rooms very nice. 1 person only at reception and on the telephone for booking is sometimes not enough and can lead to long waiting time (despite all her efforts). Breakfast very good and qualitative. Unfortunately, only 1 small expresso machine available is too little and leads to long waiting time to have a coffee.

Unfortunately, at some specific moments there are several situations to handle in reception. We are making our best to improve on this matter. As for the nespresso machine, this latter replaced for a few days our professional coffee machine, which brokedown during your stay. Fortunately, it has been repared. Our hotels are always chosen for two things - dog-friendly and good parking - everything else has become a bonus. The Mercure Grand Hotel Metz had every bonus we could have sought. From easy check-in, to lovely room, excellent breakfast buffet, to great location, we felt we had really struck the jackpot. The friendliness of the staff together with local knowledge was super.

A very warm and friendly welcome and an extremely well located hotel for visiting Metz - we will definitely come back and stay again. All of the staff were so helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Very pleasant hotel in a converted landmark building. The room was very well laid out and designed, internet was strong and the bathrooms very clean and stylish. It was the helpful and kind staff; Ugo and Thibault that made the stay all the better and we will be back soon.
