Mövenpick Hotel in Melbourne is a fantastic choice for families. The highlight for us was the kid-friendly amenities – the pool is perfect for a splash around, and the sauna is a nice spot for parents to unwind while the kids are entertained. An extra treat is the free ice cream offered to kids, which they absolutely loved! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and accommodating. The location is also great, with plenty of attractions nearby. A perfect base for a family stay in Melbourne!

My daughter and I stayed here for one night in October, in a Superior room with 2 single beds, as we were in town for a concert at the nearby Marvel Stadium. The booking process for this hotel was great, with friendly support when I needed to change the booking from two nights to one. The location of the hotel is handy, across the road from Southern Cross Station and the SkyBus terminal, and an easy walk to the stadium. There was a tram stop just outside the Bourke St hotel entry that gave us easy access to the rest of the CBD. The hotel rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Great bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at multiple interstate hotels over the years and usually grumpy about something ha! Wonderfully surprised in my home state to find Movenpick ticked all the right boxes. Clean, comfortable (inc. bed), beautiful decor, new/modern facilities and right balance of customer service. Avoided pool in afternoon as happy kids enjoyed aqua play but in evening teen son & I made quieter use. Best experienced in a while: sauna, spa & pool. We hung around there for 2 hours and enjoyed a chat. Won’t hesitate to return. Accomodation rates were tremendous value. Stayed on second floor and barely heard the street noise on a weeknight. Slept well.

stayed 2 nights at this hotel. absolutely gorgeous hotel to stay in. the lobby is beautiful and so are the rooms. love the atmosphere and design of the whole place. rooms are spacious and clean, beds are great to sleep on. tvs had chromecast so I could watch all my shows. chocolate hour was a hit for everyone, and the children enjoyed their free icecreams. a little out of cbd but easy to catch the tram in. short walk to southern cross station for food and takeaways, bus to airport easy to get too.

We had booked this hotel as it was directly opposite Southern Cross Station where we were getting off an interstate train. Very convenient. As we were only staying overnight, we opted for a cheaper room, which while small, was basic and all we needed. Comfortable bed and the usual tea making facilities etc, but no wardrobe - clothes are just hung from a rack - basic but utile. Surprisingly quiet. We would find it claustrophobic if staying very long.
