We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel, which boasts a great atmosphere and accommodating staff, especially for our kids. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom featuring a good shower. The pool was fantastic, and the Spa was even better—our kids loved it! The complimentary ice cream for the little ones was a delightful bonus. However, we noticed that the quality of the chocolate hour has declined since our last visit.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions now and its the best hotels in Melbourne, the staff make you feel welcome, especially Pete who has remembered my name and always looks after me as though I am a family member, but I am a guest staying at the hotel. Its easy to get anywhere in Melbourne from this hotel as you have trams running along Collins and Bourke Streets with the train station right across the road to explore further than the close suburbs of Melbourne by train. There are a couple of other staff members at the hotel that recognise my face but I don't know there names that provide exceptional services just as Pete does everytime I arrive at the hotel. For people visiting Mebourne this is you hotel to stay at. Short walks to good cafes in Flinders Lane and the lane ways around Melbourne if you are not keen on buffet breakfasts. I will be seeing the lovely staff at this hotel for the upcoming NTAA conference in early June 2025.

We arrived at the Movenpick after midnight and were greeted with a lovely smile and welcome by Yurla, who had been waiting for us as the last guests to arrive from our international flight into Melbourne. It was lovely to be back in Australia and made even more special, with the lovely Yuria who greeted us in the eat.y hours of the morning and provided us with our room keys. She explained that we had been upgraded to a suite on the second floor which made our arrival in Melbourne and our brief one night stay at the Movenpick after midnight a memorable experience. Our room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed, a large and luxurious bathroom and a lounge area where we could unwind after our flight. This has been our second stay at the Movenpick and definitely not our last. The hotel is conveniently located across the road from Southern Cross station, so just perfect if wanting a comfortable city stay close to everything including access to the airport. Breakfast in the high ceilinged dining area with large windows looking onto Burke and Spencer streets was warm and inviting with an excellent buffet breakfast. Thank you to the staff who made our short stay so welcoming. We will be back again soon!

This is our 1st time stay @ Movenpick Melbourne, and it will definitely not be our last. Our entire experience was beyond perfect in terms of the professionalism and friendliness of the entire team here ..... from reception to housekeeping to F&B. Furthermore this is Movenpick so where else would you have an ice cream counter and chocolatier in the hotel lobby. We especially liked the team @ Miss Mi Restaurant and the bar lounge where we had great & hearty meals attended to by Emily & team. The best thing about Movenpick is location. It's right across from Southern Cross station, the tram stations, the Spencer Outlets. The entire experience was a breeze and very welcoming ... enough to make us wish to return in the near future. Movenpick would be my hotel of choice. Thank you Cory Norris-Jones, GM and your team for a terrific job at the hotel.

Fantastic location across the road from the station, easy access to public transport including SkyBus. Plenty of take-aways, shops and supermarkets in the area. I also walked to the city centre shops, Fed Square and Southbank and it isn't too far. Room is fairly compact but very comfortable (I loved the pillows and that's rare for me at a hotel!), and has everything you'd expect including sofa for relaxing. Nice big walk-in rainforest shower. Reasonably quiet considering the location, you can hear the tram bells slightly in the background which I didn't mind at all, plus some Saturday night people noise. Loved the art work in the lift lobby and corridors. Bar area is fairly small but is great to have a Happy Hour drink while people watching on the busy corner. Excellent Asian restaurant Miss Mi, and it accepts Accor Plus discount. Don't miss daily Chocolate Hour with complimentary cakes and chocolates! Breakfast is good with made to order eggs but a relatively small buffet. Staff service was helpful and friendly everywhere. Enjoyed the leisure facilities - good lap pool, spa and sauna. This was my first stay at a Movenpick and based on this experience it won't be my last!
