Peppers docklands occupies part of a residential development adjacent to Docklands stadium. Convenient location with a tram stop just outside - 86 which plies Bourke St Mall and 30 which travels on Lonsdale St to Melb Central. Hotel occupies 5 floors only. Room 419 is the corner room and is spacious with Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of tea. I found the bed alittle lumpy and the shower didn’t have much pressure or hot water if others are also using. Breakfast spread downstairs is very substantial with scrambled eggs , sausages, beans, mushrooms and potatoes, as well as yoghurt and muesli and toast with condiments for those not wanting a hot breakfast. Staff are attentive and helpful. Please note the pool and gym belong to the apartments next door and a separate key available from reception is required to access.

Very tired hotel in much need of a makeover (which is currently scheduled) The room was so dark it was hard to see without the curtains open.The carpets very old and stained, beds were comfortable but the morning after our stay while packing noticed mould all over the bedding. Nespresso machine in room was broken, lights not working. Very close to marvel stadium is really the only positive.

There was a really friendly and funky vibe to this hotel, evident as soon as you walk into the lobby, with bright neon lights snaking across the ceiling. However, once you get up to your room, the experience is mixed. Pros: huge room, nicely appointed. Friendly staff, funky wooden pens and room keys. Shower is AMAZING! Cons: carpet in room is stained. Carpet in corridor is stained (badly) and loose, snagging the wheels of roller suitcases. The king sized bed is two singles pushed together, with a hard join in the middle, and one of the mattresses is really clunky. Tea bags aren’t that pleasant.

The pool is open pretty late which was good as our plane was delayed and we didn't arrive until nearly 10pm. Its in another building but they supply robes for you to wear over which is a nice touch. The room was a decent size - we got a 2 queen bed with no balcony. Carpet looked very grotty and stained though, but other than that it was quite nice. Bathroom was big too but the shower head is a waterfall style and quite close to the wall - maybe when they renovate they could move it further out. The water temperature also varied when we used it so it wasn't consistently warm. The room had a smart tv but it wasn't connected to the internet, so we couldn't cast a movie to it and just had to watch free to air tv. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great when we were there so it would have been nice to watch something we could choose. We didn't have the breakfast as it seemed quite over priced. With a pre-booking discount it was $28 for adults and $14 for kids. In comparison my friend staying at Vibe was charged $20 for adults and kids were free. We also didn't get our welcome drinks for being members as the bar was closed when we arrived.

Completely ruined the vacation of two families. I booked my stay including breakfast, but after reaching hotel we were told that restaurant would be closing and no breakfast was served. We were also assured to get a refund for the breakfast during checkout but later hotel denied it. I couldn’t find a direct contact or email address for accor group to make complaint. I feel this like a scam providing misleading information during booking and not refunding the money that hotel owes to the customer without providing the promised service. I will never recommend or go back again to this place.
