I Stayed in Raffles Bali for the past 3 nights - where we celebrated our wedding anniversary and my birthday- and what a memorable stay it was! We are used to hotels just providing us the token slice of cake to celebrate the above milestones, so we were surpsied at the lengths that the staff at Raffles Bali went to in preparing our villa for the occasion. To say that our stay is personalized - is not a hyperbole. We were greeted with Handwritten notes each night- as well as little snacks / tea, which the staff prepared according to our preference. There were times when we expressed our likes / dislikes in passing , but every feedback was taken in seriously by the staff there. In our first day, we were personally welcomed by the resort's Director of Culinary and also the General Manager: everywhere we went we were greeted by smiles and undivided attention. Special thanks to our Wellness Butler - who never said no to our requests- and remained contactable throughout the stay. I honestly could not remember a time when we needed something and was left wanting. Communication with the hotel began a week before we arrived. We stayed in the Ocean view villa. Being a new hotel, everything was well maintained , and there were at least 10+ diffient amenities in the toilet drawer.including things like fresh aloe vera and facial wash. The pool was clean and there was more than ample places to lounge aroud. Loved seeing the little birds chill around the villa outside. Breakfast everyday at the Rumari was top notch. Loved the cook to order format - which ensured that the food arrived fresh. The nasi uduk was delicious . We'be been to Bali probably about Six times now, and Raffles Bali is definitely the most luxurious and tranquil of all the five star resorts that we've stayed in. Sometimes it comes at the expense of things to do in the resort. But if a peaceful getaway is what you're after (read: don't want to struggle with crowds to people in the common pool) , Raffles Bali would be the perfect place for you. A bit thank you to the team at Raffles Bali. From the excellent mixologist at the bar, the botanist who gave us a tour, our breakfast waiters and of course our Wellness Butler - thank you for looking after us during our short stay

The hotel has prime location and the facilities are absolutely amazing The service everywhere in the hotel is great and comes to a pick with the butler. The food is delicious, original, tasty, the chef is welcoming and passionate. A great hotel and a memorable stay

We had a wonderful stay at Raffles. Friendly staff and butler. The view of the Room is stunning. We enjoyed the privacy of the hotel with the limestone private pool that captured the heat during the day and keep the pool warm during night time. The in villa dinner experience made our stay perfect. The gazebo created a secluded environment with utmost privacy.

Fantastic Service even before guests arrive

I am writing this review based on pre-arrival correspondences with the hotel. I had to cancel my stay last minute unfortunately but wish to leave a thumbs-up review on my experiences with the hotel's team from the initial booking until the cancellation. Reservation team has proactively reached out to me immediately after booking and to note down every preferences(weather is dietary/special occasion/or any other preferences) we might have. And they send every detail the guest might need during their stay and answer my questions in honest, detailed manner which I appreciated very much. They even assign dedicated butler almost 2 weeks before arrival in case we need to communicate directly our needs. It's Fantastic and really proactive. I have not had the actual stay yet so can not comment on the actual stay experience but i already find this resort is a very special place where they put priority on the guests' needs even before they arrive. Not to mention the most beautifully decorated, spacious villas in the whole of Bali that is second to none except for Mandapa Ubud and Capella Ubud. I will not hesitate to choose Raffles again for our next Bali trip and hopefully sooner.

Review of Raffle Bali Despite the limited time on our last day in Bali, the glowing reviews of Raffle Bali prompted us to email in advance inquiring about whether Accor members could dine at Raffle Bali's restaurant. We received a warm confirmation from the staff. However, upon arrival, we were immediately met with discrimination at the entrance, possibly due to us arriving on motorbikes to explore Bali. Worse still, when presenting the email confirmation and requesting to speak with a front desk staff member, the security guard exchanged words with Raffle staff and informed us that the front desk staff didn't speak English!? This incident highlights not only the issue of discrimination based on socioeconomic status but also the failure of Raffle Bali to uphold the standards of hospitality and inclusivity expected of a luxury brand. The lack of English proficiency among staff members, especially at the front desk, reflects poorly on the hotel's commitment to providing quality service to its guests. Furthermore, the dismissive attitude towards our inquiry and the apparent preference for certain types of guests tarnish Raffle Bali's reputation and raise questions about its values and principles. As a result, this experience leaves a lasting negative impression, not only on us as individuals but also on the perception of Raffle Bali as a destination for discerning travelers. It serves as a reminder of the importance of equality and respect in the hospitality industry and the consequences of failing to uphold these principles.
