We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the Mercure Hotel Birmingham West as a family. From check-in to departure, everything went smoothly. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special mention to Mairita, who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay – their warm attitude and helpfulness really stood out. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options that pleased both adults and kids. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a family break. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommend for families visiting Birmingham.

Lovely welcome receptionist. I arrived at 9:30pm after a long drive so this was really welcomed. Managed to use the gym and was greeted by another lovely staff member called Mandy. I didn’t check out the pool so can’t comment on this. Restaurant was decent and enjoyed a nice meal. Perfect for a business trip.

Hotel in a good quiet location, just 3 minutes from the M5. Hotel was comfortable, but looking a little 'tired' inside. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities provided. Stayed one night, with breakfast and overall was good value for money. Marital was very helpful on reception.
