The room was good but not worth the price. Secondly the staff was way too clingy. People like some privacy. We don’t need guidance everywhere in the hotel. Lastly the staff was very respectful but you just can’t get rid of them

As an ALL Accor Platinum member, I had an excellent stay at Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad and was genuinely impressed by the level of hospitality and attention to detail provided by the hotel team. I was kindly upgraded to a spacious Junior Suite and received a thoughtful welcome arrangement including welcome drinks, chocolates, and pastries. Before arrival, I also received a warm welcome email, personalised letter, and follow-up phone call from Ms. Maria Tariq, Guest Relations Supervisor, who kindly checked whether everything during my stay was satisfactory. Her professionalism and guest care were highly appreciated. The room itself was large and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally spacious and felt luxurious. I also enjoyed spending time in the Executive Lounge, which offers panoramic views of the beautiful Margalla Hills. The lounge featured a very good variety of food, salads, desserts, and beverages throughout the day. I would especially recommend a slight improvement in the Executive Lounge service presence, as there were occasions where staff could have been more attentive and available when guests required assistance. Overall, the hotel facilities exceeded my expectations. While Mövenpick within the ALL Accor hierarchy is considered a premium brand rather than a luxury brand such as Fairmont or Raffles, I honestly found Mövenpick Islamabad to be superior to several other Mövenpick properties I have visited internationally. In many ways, the overall experience felt comparable to Fairmont hotels. A very enjoyable stay and I would happily recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers visiting Islamabad.
