Just did and overnight but found the staff to be very friendly. The hotel was clean. The bed pillows not so good for my sleep taste.

Only suggestion is a note somewhere in writing that tells a guest the AC won’t work if the window is open. We never turned our tv on so didn’t realize this situation until our travelling partners told us.

Your front office staff treat guests like servants and have zero empathy. The guest is always wrong. I will never stay with Mövenpick again. Ms Han Asst Front Office Manager has no empathy, zero customer service attitude. Ruined our stay

Dear Mr. S., Thank you very much for sharing your detailed yet regretfully low rated review. I have carefully read your several comments and most regret to learn about your unpleasant experiences. Please accept my apologies for this, and be assured we take this serious. Your feedback has been internally shared for follow up accordingly. As a result from this, allow me to reply to you; In our booking system I can see two rooms booked under your name, Ravi S. with the same arrival date. After investigation with our related teams/members, this is the outcome; Your contact person or Agency booked several rooms "a small party" under the same name, of which under your name two rooms were booked and seperately paid for. This means, your credit card has only been charged for your room, not for the other room under your name. The additional names of the accompanying travel partners in the other room under your name were added accordingly. According to the feedback we received from the other guests (with the booking under your name), you knew each other. Since we were not made aware of the above booking situation, there was confusion from our side and apparently as you indicate in your email, also from your side. It is a regrettable situation that could have been prevented having had all the related details in advance of your travel party, also for your travel experiences! Again, besides the possible mix-up and understanding, my apologies for not having felt a more guest oriented or emphatic approach. I hope the above is helpful for you. We really enjoyed our stay at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre The staff, accomodation, facilities and breakfast were fantastic all of which made our brief stay in our new favorite city a pleasure.
