The Movenpick in The Hague is an excellent hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the best is extremely comfortable. Well equipped hotel gym and nicely located close to trams and stations and restaurants but just tucked away in a quiet corner. Really good restaurant and wine selection and chocolate hour is yummy The best thing with this hotel is the staff. They are professional, welcoming, engaging, knowledgeable and make the stay everything you want!!

My recent stay at the Movenpick Hotel in Amsterdam left me extremely dissatisfied due to several concerning issues that significantly impacted our experience. Despite being a loyal Gold member, the service and attention to detail fell far below expectations. Firstly, we were shocked to discover that the milk pods provided for the in-room coffee machine were expired. Consuming these led to severe stomach issues that persisted for days, greatly affecting our enjoyment of the trip. Furthermore, the cleanliness standards were lacking, as evidenced by the unchanged and dirty mugs and glasses during room cleaning. Additionally, the housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking on multiple occasions, invading our privacy and causing discomfort. Despite being entitled to a checkout time extension as a Gold member, our request was denied, despite availability showing in the app. This lack of flexibility and disregard for loyal customers is unacceptable. Lastly, we were misled regarding room upgrades. After receiving an email offering a junior suite upgrade for an additional 59€, we agreed, only to be told upon arrival that the cost had suddenly increased to 100€, with no explanation or justification provided. Overall, my experience at the Movenpick Hotel in Amsterdam was marred by incompetence, poor hygiene standards, and a disregard for customer loyalty. I urge potential guests to reconsider their choice and explore alternative accommodations in Amsterdam.

Good stay. Housekeeping did not clean our room on our second day there as we thought they would. Breakfast buffet was very nice but expensive. I wish there had been options for a continental and / or lighter full breakfast. The pub bar for supper was very good On general our stay was good.
