The room was clean and comfortable and provided all necessary amenities. It was convenient to have a mini fridge to store any snacks or drinks we purchased during our stay. We paid extra for a privilege room and was surprised by the value this provided us. The afternoon snacks and drinks were a very nice addition to our stay since we generally needed a break from the heat at the time this was provided. One thing that would be nice though is if the food changed every once in a while. We stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast and afternoon snacks were the same every day. The weirdest thing though was that they had a soft serve ice cream machine which you could use at breakfast but was out of service during afternoon snacks/drinks. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

Across our three‑night stay, we dined at Trattoria M Kyoto, the hotel’s Italian‑inspired restaurant. The experience was exquisite—modern Italian flair, quality produce, and beautifully balanced flavours. My son declared the pizza “really good,” which says it all. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to know that you found the hotel clean and enjoyed the accommodation and breakfast. However, we sincerely apologize that the explanation provided during your arrival was not sufficiently clear and caused you to feel that breakfast had been charged twice. While breakfast for the adults was included in the reservation, breakfast for children was not included and was therefore charged separately in accordance with our breakfast policy. Nevertheless, we understand that this should have been explained more clearly and carefully by our team at the time. Your feedback regarding the check-in experience and our team’s service has been shared internally, and we will work to improve the way we explain inclusions and additional charges to our guests.
