Location of the hotel is quite good, it is close to the Kyoto Train and Metro Station. The front desk staffs were warm and welcoming. F&B (breakfast) team was average, while they didn't make any mistakes, interaction was minimal and did not feel the hospitality from them. The food was soso. The hot food was not hot, the croissant and bakery selection was very poor and badly made (I had a much higher expectation on this given it's a French brand!) Housekeeping team did their job in decent cleaning. The room design is very questionable (i know this is not something you could easily change). The sofa/chair is not comfortable, it's more a showpiece than a chair for people sit and relax... There's no table, not even a small one. The lighting in the room is a disaster. Spot light right on your face on the bed, the other ambience light did not really provide any ambience, nor did they fulfilll the lighting function... But afterall, in general, it was a comfortable stay! Thank you!

The lobby was frequently crowded with tour groups and large amounts of stored luggage, making it feel busy and congested. Breakfast was one of the most disappointing aspects of this stay. The restaurant was consistently overcrowded, and even getting a cup of coffee often required waiting behind 7-8 other guests. Compared to my previous visits, the variety and quality of the food seemed to have declined, and the selection of Japanese dishes had been noticeably reduced.
