Overall we were slightly disappointed with the hotel. We arrived an hour before check-in time and were told we needed to sign up as Acclor members to be allowed into our room, despite it being available. However the free drink was a nice touch. The room was basic, the bed was very firm and uncomfortable. We had intermittent WiFi in our room throughout our stay. It disconnected us every 10 minutes or so which was frustrating. However on informing staff of this they did look into it and there was some improvement. The breakfast was an average buffet. When we have stayed in five star hotels before we have felt the hotel has had our best interests at heart - but this was not the case at Nungwi Dreams. We were charged $5 to have one T-Shirt washed. We were informed the taxis into Nungwi were $20 return from the hotel, but we found it significantly cheaper outside of the hotel setting. The hotel was in need of some TLC overall. A big positive of the stay were the staff. Most were very friendly and accommodating and we felt safe there.
