Had 3 nights in a 1 bdrm appt which was a good size, clean, although a little dated. We enjoyed the spacious balcony and the closeness to the pool, restaurant and bar. (Some extra detergent, extra bread board and a tea towel rack would be good) Food: burgers great, pizza not so much, dessert terrible. A-la-carte menu would have been better instead of set price. Drinks: good especially ‘social hour’ Service: okay A short walk downhill to Hastings Street and a nice (steep with steps) walk up to the lookout from the driveway. Would return again, for a few days.

My experience was a mixed bag: 1. I advised the hotel in advance that my arrival would be very late. It was — I arrived at approximately 1:15am. There was no attendant in sight in the lobby. I repeatedly called the hotel, pressed the front door button, and shouted for help, but no one was there. I walked upstairs and couldn’t find anyone in the restaurant. I walked to the loading dock/housekeeping and couldn’t find anyone there. I then called Accor who put me in touch with the night manager of a different Noosa hotel. At nearly 2am, he was able to come over and locate the night manager of the Peppers resort, who was apparently in some back room “unable” to hear the phone or front door bell. 2. The night manager of the other hotel apologised and remarked — I hope they compensate you for this. No compensation or other freebies were offered. 3. Certain features of the room seemed dated, particularly, the bed and the extremely rusted mirror in the bathroom. 4. I did appreciate the washer and dryer in the room.

Great break. However I remain puzzled that such a great facility with excellent rooms sees the economy in supplying less than a full roll of one ply toilet paper. I would think that 1 ply would be false economy.
