Checked in and was told no upgrade available for Platinum member. Went to room and found no hot water. We were then moved to another room but we asked for a better/more private room due to location. To their credit, the manager moved us to a 2 bed room after plenty of discussion, however our repeated asks for us to pay extra for a Villa with a balcony view were dismissed as (supposedly) the property was fully booked. Talking to another team member the next day, there was plenty of rooms and Villas available. This is the first time with any Accor property that I have been unable to upgrade (either for free or paid). Plus the fact that the booking also had noted that my partner and I were celebrating a big anniversary. To say we were Disappointed that we chose Peppers Noosa rather than our normal regular stay at Sebel was an understatement.
