My recent stay at Manta Trilogy wasn’t as pleasant as I expected it to be. When we first arrived, we had two rooms one on level eight and one on level nine in building two, and the people who were staying in theroom on level eight had to be moved because the furniture was stained that we found a toenail on the floor so they got moved to level three which still isn’t as pleasant. And then the room I was staying in (level nine) again the furniture was stained Wi-Fi kept cutting out and cockroaches found in bed rooms. We then got moved and upgraded into level P tower one, and still Wi-Fi was cutting out toenail found on floor stains on curtains and beddings and even the wall was falling apart, the paint was peeling and everything. Now that’s just the rooms. We then go out to the pool and find there is worms at the bottom. There is a hole in the bottom of the pool. It’s like a filter thing that was not covered up or warned about and my daughter got her foot stuck in and her foot was bruised. t Tiles around the pool were loose and my son tripped on one and fell into the pool. They then cut the palm trees down that were on the side of the pool and filled with bark and then the bark fell into the pool. I would not recommend Mantra Trilogy as a nice comfortable pleasant place to stay.

Well! Mantra Trilogy, what can one say? We were booked in for a five (5) night stay and as such would be considered a good paying customer for any hotel. Here is our opinion on the Manyra Trilogy for your consideration…. Remembering we stayed in one room only for the duration of our stay in Cairns: - Service desk and staff… very good, friendly and in the most well informed. - views from tower 1 - limited but fair - location in relation to waterfront, shops and charters to the Barrier Reef - overall good if you enjoy a walk along the waterfront. - Standard of the rooms - now for the reality. - and we were in Room 4/3A. which was a single bedroom unit with cooking facilities and separate laundry 1. Range hood inoperable 2. Ventilation in bathroom inoperable 3. Ventilation in laundry inoperable 4. Toilet seat loose and fixings broken 5. Mat in the lounge room very worn and matted - well overdue for replacement. 6. Bedroom had comfortable bed but the circulation space was very limited getting into the room from the living room. Whoever designed these units needs a kick up the butt! Finally, we did hand this list to the front desk for their records. We were phoned and offered another room….. on our last night! This begs the question, why did they place us in this room in the first place? Didn’t anyone else point out these glaring defects? Why weren’t these glaring defects corrected prior to relenting the room? Poor attitude and management I suspect. So that’s it! Mantra Trilogy stay rated a poor two (2) stars only and most of the positives were directly related to experiences outside of our accommodation. When given an opportunity to make good a poor experience the management deserve a serve. Over and out. .

We stayed at The Mantra as a family for a week during Christmas and on a stopover on the way home. The staff were incredible and gave us access to our room early after an overnight flight (we have 4 kids) and were a delight to deal with.

This is supposed to be a hotel but they won't "service" your room on a five-day stay and couldn't remember simple instructions (e.g. I want my towels changed every day - "you'll have to ring reception and ask for that each day" and when I did - they didn't. I had to go to reception and get the towels myself). This is very poor for such a business.
