We had a $600 voucher to stay with Mantra. People at reception didn’t know what to do with it. We stayed one night cost us $320 had didn’t get the rest of the voucher back. Still waiting for them to send it through email. I’ll be following this up as it was a Christmas present. Hopefully hear back from you soon.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I have taken a look at your reservation & reviewed the notes from my hotel team and our Central Reservations team and noted that initially an online reservation was made and upon arrival to the hotel you had requested to use a gift card/voucher. Unfortunately at hotel level we are unable to process these so Luna cancelled that reservation and made a new one directly with Central Reservations in order for you to use the Gift Card. I have then seen in the notes that Central Reservations has processed the payment against the gift card and that the remaining balance is $280. If you wish I can have someone from Central team give you a call to discuss any further questions you have around the remaining balance. Again my apologies that our handling of this situation didn't meet your expectations as at Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Hotel in a great location, friendly staff. Bathrooms a little tired, lifts too slow. Reasonably priced (except the two bed apartments, way too expensive). Clean and tidy rooms. Good safe parking. Can’t beat the proximity/walking distance to Melbourne attractions and great restaurants. Shame about the COVID clinic out the front.

Warm, friendly and helpful staff made staying at Mantra on Russell so easy. Upgraded to suite, which was fully equipped with kitchenette and washing facilities. I like the idea of only having the room cleaned on request....gives so much more privacy and thinking time when working. Wonderful location in the Chinatown area of the Melbourne CBD.

This was out third stay and we received a free upgrade to a larger apartment, not that the other apartments were small to start with. The staff are super friendly and the cost is quite reasonable.

Wonderful staff. Lovely room and very clean. Perfect location. The internet was virtually non existent for the first two days and our shower on the 18th floor had no pressure. My partner could not wash her hair due to lack of water pressure. The pressure in the swimming pool shower was fine. Would we stay here again? Probably, but not on the 18th floor.

In regards to your breakfast experience we had staffed and prepared to service 50 guests and instead we serviced 80 of which everyone came within the same 90 minute window of which as you mentioned applied pressure to everyone including our guests. We have since transitioned to a Covid safe buffet so should the same occur again we are better prepared to take care of guests.
