On the whole a nice hotel BUT house keeping needs to be addressed ASAP. Bathroom floor in our room was not cleaned. When I say not cleaned, I mean filthy. Safe in room was broken.

General Manager Colin, To the point。。。。。 - Upon arrival asking for a credit card deposit. It is a sign of "lack of trust" with the guest whilst protecting the interest of the hotel and especially the staff (not from the guest point of view). Fortunately I have a credit card. A case scenerio for the Hotel Management to decide or use as a training tool. Assuming my room booking was through a causal friend who helped by prepaying the room charge. Upon arrival, reception asked for a deposit but I have no credit card or I lost my credit card. I requested for a cash deposit but the reception insisted for a credit card authorisation as it is the "hotel policies". My casual friend decide not to authorise for other charges as he don't know me well. Here is the question: Refuse checkin or I find a hotel to checkin that accept cash as deposit? - Room is perfect but lack a Hairdryer. After a swim at your pool or a warm shower; I have to "drip dry" my hair before going to bed?? There is no note in the welcome letter or sign in the room that I can borrow a hair dryer. - A lot is mentioned about your eco-friendly hotel or by your local government or by ACCOR Group but where can I throw away my recycle rubbish or general waste in the hotel? - Being a loyal ALL guest, where is the benefits or privileges extended ( suggest a late checkout or room upgrade if available or a small welcome fruit basket ). These does not have a high cost but it can help improve the guest experience. - Funny part is I can't enter the swimming pool. It is only after asking the associate for assistance did I only realise that there is a "catch" in order to get into the swimming pool areas. That is, by lifting the iron knob located at the corner or at the side of each of the iron gate. Wouldn't it be easier if there is a sign or a tag advising the guest ? I do understand it is for security and safety reasons but do you expect a guest to know. - There was a small packet of full cream milk in the mini-bar but with no information if it is complimentary from the Hotel Management. I thought it was left behind by the previous guest! Till now I do not know if it is complimentary or not. This amenity would have lifted the guest experience if proper communication is provided. Overall, I must compliment Nikkei of handling well my situation of the advance deposit though it has room for improvement. Colin, I am bringing all these short comings to your attention is simply hoping that you will appreciate my feedback so that other future guests that stay at your beautiful hotel will get a great hotel experience (both in term of the hotel product and service). We had a very good stay at Mantra Club Croc. Although it’s a bit of a distance from Airlie Beach, there’s a bus stop right in front of the resort, which makes it very convenient. The service was great and the room was very clean. Very happy to recommend it!

Bed bugs in bed cushions possibly bed and mold in bathroom . Only find out you dont get room servixe on arrival or cleaning and its just a room with a mini fridge. Aircon and fan were great staff were friendly. But left with a rash and even when i told them they werent willing to fix room immeditaly if someone else was booked into room. Food wasnt great either.

The room you stayed in was taken out of service straight away and inspected by professional pest control, who confirmed there were no signs of bed bugs. We only released the room again once it was fully cleared. We are sorry you felt the room and bathroom were not up to standard, and we will follow this up with our housekeeping team.
