We have visited Aanuka beach resort 3 times over the last two years. We love the the resort due to the location, facilities (pools, play areas, restaurant, gardens), family friendly atmosphere and Digger's Beach is on your door step. It truly is a lovely part of the world. However, we have noticed the units that we stay in are very run down and outdated. The beds are hard, the bathrooms need updating. We thought we may have been unlucky and got a run down unit. However, at our most recent stay, our unit had established spider webs in the bathrooms and bedrooms. We had to clean them out prior to using. The carpets smelled and were very stained (they do need changing) and there was no air conditioning downstairs which made it very hot when preparing meals in the kitchen and running the dryer.

We have stayed at Aanuka many times over the years but were a little disappointed this time. Many facilities are getting run down and need fixing or updating.

Beautiful Location, Wonderful Staff but the Resort as a whole is dated, especially the rooms, and our accommodation wasn't properly cleaned (Dead Spiders) before our arrival and alive baby spiders inside, on the walls. Everything else was Great/Excellent 😁
