Loved the location, great staff lovely rooms

When I booked this villa online though Accor I requested early check-in and late checkout because I have a disability and ill struggle to find somewhere to relax. They said ok that will be an extra $20. I said OK. From the time we checked in I knew this was going to be an odd stay. for the disabled No transport even though buggies were not being utilised and their policy/service apparently doesn't cover this. The room was not ready as per request and $20 fee for early check-in. Was agreed but did not Apply. If you use an extra towel you will be charged $2 which is just a bull shit charge. How could you not need extra towels considering the beautiful beach and swimming pool. So maybe 1 towel is just not enough. Got to the room and gee how old and dated is this decor. Hasn't had a paint job for a longtime, cracked tiles through all wet areas, moulded silicone seal, chipped and cracked tiles bouncy fall near floor waste in main bedroom ensuite. One day someone will put the feet through the fall. This is even tighter and cringe worthy. The next day's breakfast our 3 daughters had not arrived and wouldn't get here until 1pm. So first of all, I requested a discount for 3 people not eating breakfast as it was already paid for and was too late to get anything back. This was fair enough because I should have asked with notice. Still tight though. So whilst halfway into my breakfast I asked if I could take some savoury food for when my daughters arrive. Answer "NO". Then 2 min later she must have felt guilty because she handed me a cardboard container. Nice but I have 3 daughters who eat like horses. Another tight arse moment Breakfast was very pricey but no free barista made coffee is free. 1 coffee $6.50 So checkout time is close so I just had an odd feeling that this request was tainted from day 1. I asked 1 receptionist if I could confirm late checkout. She said no you cant. I reminder her this was already agreed but I was just checking. OK we can offer you 11am checkout for $20. What about 12pm $40. I just shook my head and walked away. Head scratcher. I have travelled around the world for 30 years and stayed in some pretty good and pretty crap accommodation. you don't have to guess where Anuka Beach Resort sits compared to other resorts around the globe. Close to $2400 for 2 nights 5 people is bordering on being a tight ass. Moril for sharing this information is usually you get what you pay for and we definitely did not get that important memo when purchasing our accommodation. Won't be coming back

Great beach front location! Room was clean, a proper hot plate would have been preferred rather than the plug in pan. Facilities were a little dated but kids were very happy with the pools and slide. Sucks that the restaurant was not part of the Accor group as we were not able to utilise our membership discounts and chose to go elsewhere.

Rough start with an angry night access staff who wouldn’t release the key and hung up on me but after that it was amazing

It was comfortable stay - well located - friendly staff
