We were lucky to get a refurbished room I think. Well, mostly refurbished. They still had the 1980s sofa and curtains but generally the suite was good. It was also clean and housekeeping responded very quickly to the fact that our washing machine wasn’t working - couldn’t fix it, but responded promptly. Look, this a family beach club designed for families. Games field, clubs, the lot. That isn’t us now but would have been 25 years ago so for that reason I can’t be too harsh. The common areas are tired, the indoor pool and the spa are closed and clearly the refurb has been paused. The staff are mostly young, helpful and endearingly clueless! A warning on the pool, which is lovely but 2.2 m deep with no lifeguard. Seems strange. The wildlife really is on your doorstep - we encountered a slightly aggressive possum mum and almost adult baby - again, small children would be in potential danger. I wouldn’t go back but I understand the attraction for families

Beautiful grounds, palm trees, water dragons, turtles and fish in the creek running through the middle. Pool area's were very nicely done. Restaurant stunning, happy hour and amazing cocktails very enjoyable. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed. An update to the pool spa's, blinds and gym are probably due but didn't really detract from a great family stay.

This place was so beautiful. It has very dynamic pools, hot tubs and water slide. The most comfiest pillows on a very clean room. So many activities at this resort and I wish I stayed longer than one night so I could try more out. Unfortunatly one hot tub was closed but luckily they had two. I would love to come back.

We had previously stayed at Aanuka in 2004 and 2009. That must have been its high point. My room Bure 2 looks tired, especially in the kitchenette area. Fallen branches on roof and in gutters. Cutlery was blunt. Room had a weird smell to it. Restaurant overpriced for just average food. Won’t be coming back again.

We were given a very unhygienic and poorly maintained unit. Cockroachs were roming inside, ants on every vanity and bench inside unit, blood stains on lounge, insects inside light covers. Mould forming on inside dining chairs and bar stools. Water stains on internal ceilings. We were very disappointed with what we got compared to what we paid for the accommodation. Disgusting place to stay at. Never again. It's a shame that All Accor has this resort under its belt.
