Annuka always leaves me in two minds. Pros. The Family enjoys our annual getaway; the pools, beach, bar, restaurant, BBQs and grounds are always a hit. Sitting on grass, able to watch the kids, and have a drink and food is special. Cons. Total lack of respect for Accor members and the Accor brand. Disappointing that Annuka disregards all Platinum benefits. Frustrating: Annuka does not honour your drink voucher or breakfast voucher. They could at least leave a beer in the fridge and a breakfast pack like similar hotels. Frustrating that you cannot charge to your room to get the benefits. Frustrating that they refuse to honour the bar and restaurant discounts I pay for. Yet a local gets 10% off. I don't believe their story about the restaurant is clearly a business decision. Frustrating, they demand you pay a week before you arrive, making it very difficult to pay using points Accor management is well aware of this and yet to step in. Drinks are overpriced. We have been coming here for years and pre-renovations they honoured everything. A new owner and all changes even though under the same brand. No daily room cleaning and at $350 a night I would expect that we got fresh towels and toilet paper.

The gym remains inadequate. TV remote had no batteries so tv could not be used. Rower had no batteries in control unit. Straps on bike pedals broken. Weights very limited. Please add a machine like was previously in place. Also still no complimentary drinks for Accor members.

We’ve stayed at Aanuka Beach Resort four times now, and this visit was definitely the best so far. The new Aanuka Beach House was stunning, and being able to wander up for a great coffee each morning was such a treat. The food was delicious as always. Our room had been partially renovated, a noticeable improvement on our 2022 stay. Though it still needs a little more work. Overall, it was a wonderful family holiday, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
