The room is extremely clean and the bed/pillows are super comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and the parking is really big although it is not the hotel parking it’s super convenient and cheap. Do not pay on the pay by phone app but go into the hotel and they would give you a different website to pay as it lets you put exactly the time you need till. We used the pool and sauna which were clean and very nice but the water was a bit cold and the jacuzzi wasn’t working when we visited otherwise it was great. I would definitely come again.

Three of us stayed here together with our cavapoo. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those with pets. The staff went out of their way to welcome our dog and our dog adored the reception team. The staff were amazing - really friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was spacious enough for us - with a queen size bed and a comfortable sofa bed. The bathroom was very modern and included a rainfall shower. The buffet breakfast was fresh and all items were well stocked. The hotel is ideally located for picturesque dog walks along the River Cam. There is an NCP car park next to the hotel. There is also disabled parking directly in front of the hotel. Particular thanks go to Genni (of the Italian block), Christoph, Ughelto, Neveq and Renouol.

Location - great as next door to train station which takes only 5 minutes into town centre. Also we discovered that it is a nice walk into town centre from the hotel. Car park is next door, however you have to pay for it. Room - we stayed as a family, so the sofa bed was out. It was a bit tight for space, but we needed a room to sleep with 2 kids, so did the job. The room was well equipped, good toiletries, nice towels, a comfortable bed, and a great power shower. Could not ask for more. Extra facilities - small swimming pool and sauna available and was a great addition. Breakfast was tasty and great value, definately.come back for it. Dinner was a bit more of a mixed bag: The hilight is kids deret brownie - it comes with brownie and kids can decorate it with various topings. The best entertainment ever! The rest was a bit of let down as we paid £90 for dinner of 2 main courses for 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 drinks. My salad did not have any dressing and had just leaves tossed on it along with plasticy chicken. The burger was very basic. So dinner was not what I would repeat, but breakfast was amazing. To add, some of the staff we interacted with we super great and enthusiastic.

We had a great stay at Novotel Cambridge North. The location is very convenient - right next to Cambridge North train station and a stone's throw from the River Cam. Getting into the city centre is a breeze, whether you hop on a bus or take a scenic walk along the river. The hotel itself is modern and inviting, with a fantastic breakfast selection. Highly recommend for an enjoyable stay in Cambridge!

Nice Hotel

The swimming pool facilities are NOT a wellness centre, more of a leisure pool full of kids and parents with no consideration or self awareness of others using the facilities. Ruined our visit for my husbands birthday. Other than the above, the hotel is clean and modern.
