We stayed at Ibis Luton Airport the night before our flight with our 2-year old. The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant did nice food, and the staff in the bar were friendly. We got an Uber to the airport for ease (fully available at 4am). There is a bus on the road outside but it doesn't always turn up.

Worst experience ever, family with 2 kids ,2 rooms booked and they book another couple in our second room, spoke with them and we been moved to different rooms ,after 2 hours another person been brought in our second room. Staff was very rude when questions been made and there answer was that is nothing that can be done. Place to be avoid .

This was a very disappointing hotel!!! We (family of 3) stayed for two night at each end of our holiday. On the first stay (14-16th October) my wife cut her finger and went to reception to ask for a plaster. She was told that the first aid kit “did not contain any plasters”. Eventually, they found a plaster in another first aid kit that expired in 2022! Also, the family room had a small single bed in it. This bed had a collapsible shelf above it, however, when the room was made up (on both our stays) the shelf was not put away, so my 8yr old exhausted daughter flopped on to the bed and banged her head against it. On our second stay (23-25th October) we had booked a triple room and when we arrived at 1am after a delayed flight we were told there were none available. They could only offer us a double room (two adults and an 8yr old). Eventually they found us a room the size of a postage stamp with 3 single beds literally squeezed in to it. The TV didn’t work, the shelf was still a head injury risk… THE ROOM KEYS!!! On both our stays, the keycards to the rooms were awful! We had to continually go to reception to get new ones just to go back to the room to find it STILL didn’t work. It was awful. The bar had 5 or 6 draught taps, but ok both our stays, only the Stella worked. Short positive list: Rooms were clean, very close to airport, beds very comfy. No aeroplane noise. Sadly though the negatives far outweigh the positives and I would really not recommend this hotel, we will certainly not be using it again!

Good location for airport. Parking on first come first served and had no itobutns over the three days two nights I was there. Debit is miserable with black walls everywhere, plastic furniture, and a plastic bathroom ‘capsule’. But he’s very comfortable. Reception staff, especially Jacob, were excellent. Bar staff also friendly and efficient. Food menu limited but okay. Breakfast better second morning but rather luke warm. Make sure you get some milk for your tea because it seemed to finish by 9.30 - managed to get some but was told it was a waste to replenish the milk half hour before breakfast ended. Overall it’s an IBIS and what you would expect. I don’t however recognise comments here about staff because I thought they were very good.

Ibis Hotel review On Wednesday 4th September 2024 my husband and I booked into the IBIS Hotel, Luton Airport for an overnight stay before our early morning flight the following morning. We booked in around 2.15 that afternoon, went to our room, unpacked what we needed then went to the bar for a drink. After approx. 45mins we went back to the room to prepare for dinner when my husband discovered that his bank card was not in his wallet. Thinking that it may have slipped out when he checked in, I went down to Reception to ask if it had been handed in. It hadn’t. My husband then contacted his bank and during the conversation was told his card had been fraudulently used. After stopping the card, we went down for dinner and then discovered that the cash from his wallet had also been taken. I immediately checked my bag only to discover that my bank card and cash had been taken too! The Police were called and we informed the Duty Manager as to what had happened. He said that it was impossible that anyone could have entered our room as the cleaners finish their shift at 2pm and asked if we were sure it hadn’t happened prior to arriving at the hotel. No, it did not! He indicated that key cards are not left or accessible to other members of staff after the cleaners leave. We always make a point of checking the door to our hotel room wherever we stay and there was no sign of a forced entry to our room. We left the hotel the following morning thinking that our case was being dealt with and were thankfully still able to continue our journey. However, only after leaving the hotel did I discover that 2 pairs of gold earrings were missing along with my driving license! We were then left with the worry of the security of our property and also the risk of identity fraud! On our return we went back to the hotel, having parked there and followed up the incident with a member of staff on duty who gave us details of the Deputy Manager, who I have to say, came back to us with an extremely negative and unhelpful response. We have travelled all over the world and have never experienced anything like this! It is obvious that there is a serious lack of security at this hotel!! Do not stay at this Hotel as your valuables may not be safe! We will not be staying at another IBIS hotel in future.
