Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences

I had the pleasure to stay at the Residences of the Sofitel Ambassador for about a month and a half. It was an extremely comfortable stay in a spacious and well equipped studio. The dining experience is great. Fait Maison and Latitude 32 (try their Zodiac cocktails!) are really worth a visit. The gym and swimming pool facilities are also well equipped. What made the stay memorable was the kindness of all the staff, always patient, polite and extremely helpful. Little attentions such as a piece of cake for my birthday, traditonnal tea for Seollal and cholcoates for Valentines' day were very appreciated. Special thanks to Regina and Laura, who, in addition to always preparing me my favorite latte, always found the time for a little friendly chat. Thanks a lot ladies, and thanks a lot again Sofitel!

Experienced travellers will tell you that when you stay at a hotel in different countries, you have to adjust your expectations depending on where you are. During my visit to Korea, I had frankly lowered my expectations - this is after all, an advanced country that isn't as affordable as its south East Asian cousins. It's simply not as reliant on tourism as others, especially in a mega city like Seoul. I was wrong. The Sofitel Ambassador Seoul really showed me that Korea is able to showcase the world's highest level of hospitality. The few hiccups I had were managed extremely well, which is more than I can say for many hotels I've stayed at including other high end hotels like other sofitels. The staff are exceptional, friendly and professional. I want to take the opportunity to highlight Bella, Woody and Katie, who I had more direct interactions with and were absolutely amazing. That is not however to discount all front office staff, who were exceptional. The rooms are well sized and gorgeously decorated, with stunning panoramic views via their floor to ceiling windows. Truly spectacular and a reoccurring theme for this hotel. Breakfast hosted a wide variety of foods with origins from East to West including the Sofitel staple French selections. Something for everyone. Location is also exceptional, being a stone throw away to a plethora of Lotte owned malls including the imposing Lotte World Tower - plenty to do, shop and eat. If you can, I highly recommend getting a room with lounge access. As mentioned, the staff are exceptional, space is plentiful, service is excellent and views are spectacular. My personal highlight is the pool and spa facilities. This single handedly made me regret not staying at this hotel sooner/longer. Changing facilities are fantastic, and reflect the changing/sauna amenities in other Korea saunas but with more private facilities for the visitor not used to the Korean spa culture and etiquette. There are single sex indoor spas, a kids pool, a larger regular pool and outdoor spa pool. Like most of the hotel, the pools are backgrounded with the panaramic views of Seoul. I can't praise the pool facities enough, a real gem. A big highlight is the outdoor spa pool which was amazing against the winter of Seoul. 6/5 stars for me, you can expect me to be right back here if I ever get the pleasure of returning to Seoul. Well done accor and the Sofitel Seoul staff.

I cannot speak highly enough of our stay in this fabulous hotel. Every attention to detail has been made and the staff are outstanding. It’s been a most glorious 4 days and I recommend you stay here when visiting this lovely city. Location is great snd a brisk walk around the lake in the morning is a great way to start the day!

First time with you guys and I must say everything has been top level! Thank you -Gwen/Irene for taking care of me and my room and also made checking in a breeze for me ;) -Josh/Helia for all your info and arranging taxi for me thru out my stay! Job well done! The team at Sofitel Seoul is always fantastic! And the service is always consistent. Having stayed there for 7 times across the last 12 months, the service have always been great. The team at Club Millesime will always make the effort to ensure that the stay is as comfortable as it could be and it feels like a 2nd home to me! If a great service is what you are looking for, I would recommend Sofitel Seoul! I look forward to returning in April!
