The room was of excellent quality, just that I'm not used to sleep in a small single bed anymore. The breakfast buffet was good; I was less enthusiastic about the dinner buffet in the evening. The cold starter buffet was excellent, the dessert was good as well but the warm buffet suffered from the typical weaknesses of a buffet: cold vegetables without much taste and some of the meat dishes getting quite oily. I found the comment from one of the employees when I asked the second night if it was a dinner buffet again: "there are too many guest to eat a la carte" a bit weird since other hotels do manage this also during trade fairs and honestly: I did not see so many guests taking dinner in the evening. Most guests go to the center of Dusseldorf to have dinner and a few beers.
