From the moment we stepped onto the property, every staff member we encountered greeted us promptly and assisted us with everything. They took our luggage, and were already in the room by the time we went up. Vera at the front desk was friendly, accommodating and efficient in checking us in. Service with a smile was the theme at this hotel. A special thank you to the valet, (I didn’t get his name, but he lived 3 years in Maryland), every time he saw us, he made sure we knew where we were going, assisted us in finding places, and wished us to have a great day. Even carrying in our shopping bags, the staff promptly assisted us without even asking. This was only one of 2 hotels, we’ve stayed at, that has provided such personalized, excellent service in the smallest of ways. Fairmont was one of 3 (5 star) properties we stayed at during our 3 week stay in Korea and by far our most favorite. If I could suggest any improvements for this property, would be possibly changing up some menu items at the breakfast buffet, to provide better variety for those staying longer than a couple of days. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay memorable.

I visited the buffet at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Hotel today with my mom, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The food selection was excellent—beautifully presented, fresh, and thoughtfully curated. What made the experience exceptional, however, was the service. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, making us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. I’d especially like to highlight Derek, who went above and beyond. His recommendations for both wine and food were spot-on and elevated our meal significantly. More than that, his hospitality made us feel relaxed, invited, and very well taken care of—something that really stays with you long after the meal ends. It was a lovely dining experience to share with my mom, and one we’ll remember fondly. I highly recommend this buffet, not just for the quality of the food, but for the outstanding service that truly reflects the Fairmont standard.

Lovely hotel with a great location. Close to shopping and metro & bus lines. Cross the river and all the famous attractions and historic sites are short walk from metro station.

Great experience. Jenna was caring and professional. Seemed like a very experienced worker. Room was tidy. Everything smelled nice. Bed was comfortable and clean. Lobby lounge was a great place to relax for a while.
