The view is amazing and staff were attentive, kind, efficient and courteous. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent service from the moment we got off from the taxi for arrival till departure. Our room was ready although we came in earlier than check in time and a staff managed my room to be ready so that we could explore seoul earlier than we expected.

We have always found the Fairmont hotel to be one of the finest hotels in the world, with impeccable service and facilities. Our stay in April 2024 was particularly memorable, coinciding with a birthday and anniversary. The staff were quick to note this and set up beautiful amenity for us to celebrate. The staff, the location, the kindness, the food—everything was perfect.

Better location than downtown

Jetted in from Osaka for a weekend in Seoul and was looking forward to our stay at the Fairmont hotel. I wasn't aware that it was a far distance from downtown which was a better location. I had booked a 2 bedroom suite which had 2 adjoining rooms with main suite having a big lounge, bathroom, 2 separate toilets, dining area and walk in wardrobes. We had lounge access which included drinks, snacks and for 2 evenings ended eating dinner there. Food was good and the breakfasts were sufficient. Service throughout the hotel was excellent and it is superbly located not far for a river walk to view the cherry blossoms with the locals enjoying picnics as well as the impressive Hyundai shopping centre next door. Would stay there again.

Wanted to share our great experience with the Fairmont recently, and to thank them for their help even though we were not hotel guests. Returning to Seoul from a long tourist trip out of town, we were very tired and our phones couldn’t contact a Kakao taxi back to our hotel in Myeongdong, which was some distance away. We walked around and finally went into the Fairmont to get help. The gentlemen at the concierge desk and door tried to help with our phone app, and when that didn’t work, offered to get us a cab from their own phones. We got back to the hotel safe and sound thanks to them. We truly appreciate the time they took to help us and their kindness to tourists in the city.

Fabulous gourmet breakfast with a view on the park & the city, athletic elegant pool, stunning gastronomic French cuisine - you must try the 6 courses menu & let the chef guide you - You are connected to a very couture mall if you want to indulge yourself with some shopping. Furthermore you re a ride away to the lively parts of the city Itaewon, Insadon and the typical Bukchon . Should you hesitate , ask the staff and the management: adorable & 100% at your service ( you can also take a nap in your comfy & luxurious room with a breathtaking view !)
