This is a very good island, I never meet before. We had a very good honeymoon memory. When we first get into the room, a nice honeymoon amenity on the table. And also we did sunset shipping with other people. We saw beautiful sunset and dolphin. The Azzurra has very good food. Laila gave us a nice service. We will come back in the future.

Azee is the best man of the iland Very friendly and helpful personal. We had a unforgettable honeymoon at angsana velavaru. Our villa was also very clean! Thank you!! Good food. Wonderful personal for snorkling and very nice trip. Nice entertainment at the evening.

I went to Angsana Velavaru on 10th April until 17th. I visited with my partner. We were so exited to be visiting Maldives for 1st time. After arriving in Maldives we had great service at the airport everything was smooth then we head off with the sea plane to the resort. After arriving at the resort we were welcomed by the people there which was very kind. At the resort we were directed to Safia I am not sure if this was the name of the employee. She explained everything and showed us the room. Unfortunately the room was not the one we booked and I requested to be changed with the one we initially booked. She checked if it’s free but it wasn’t and she gave us a different room which was similar to the one we booked. This was my first disappointment upon my arrival I expected everything to be excellent as this is deemed to be 5* resort. After they gave us the room they never checked on us if all is ok neither did the manager. I wouldn’t give this place 5* as simply isn’t could be 4* or even 3* easily. The main restaurant staff is not very welcomed and smiley. I even was told off from one of the waiters (wearing blue t-shirt) why am I sitting at a table for 4 when we are only 2. My simple answer to that was that there wasn’t a set up table and the timing for breakfast was at its end. I didn’t like the service there even not average but poor. Food wasn’t 5* either, same menu all over again. Luckily, the beach bar had great food and amazing service. All the credits goes to the guys at the beach bar they were very helpful and amazing. Zawho was great and look after us. The island itself is beautiful but would be great if they have sun-bets and umbrellas on the beach if you don’t want to stay at the pool. Also, the first room they gave us was dirty and old. Pillow cases weren’t ironed and quite wrinkly. My bedsheets in the room weren’t changed for 5 days until I asked the guy to do and he did it. Just quite disappointing service for the money we paid. Maldives is great country and I would go back for sure but not at this hotel.
