Paradise. Wonderful snorkelling and scuba diving with knowledgeable and hospitable Ahmed and Sylvie. Amazing swimming with a Whale shark and manta ray. A world of colourful coral and fish. Azee kept our room immaculate and surprised us with special wedding anniversary decorations and cake. Appa that manages the restaurant provides world class fresh and delicious food for every meal. Rohim creates fast and delicious Maldivian omelettes with a smile. Great service everywhere. Live music was excellent at the bar and service impeccable. Love birds flew into our hands and we fed them with Numjalee. Everything is beautiful. Immaculate. Leaves are cleared, flowers grown, hedges trimmed, staff smiling and friendly. The worst part of Angsana Velavaru was having to leave.

We had a rest in the beginning of December. We liked everything very much from the meeting to the departure! The staff is excellent, friendly, in particular I want to note the girl from the waitresses, I don’t remember her name unfortunately (not tall) and the guy from the pool bar Shamaan. As for our villa, and it had its own pool, everything was just great! Clean and tidy. They always cleaned and replenished the bar. The guide Alina, Russian-speaking, was always friendly and at any time you could contact her with any question. The result of the vacation, everything is great! I recommend!!!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The all inclusive package was really worth it, and the food and service was really good! Shoutout to Laila and Totti at Azzurro Restaurant who were constantly giving us friendly smiles and accommodating to our needs!

We had an unforgettable vacation at Angsana Velavaru Maldives, and I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Tuan for his exceptional support before, during, and after our stay. He made our trip truly memorable with his proactive approach, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Tuan even went above and beyond to honor the Best Price Guarantee as promised on the website—an incredible gesture that we greatly appreciated. A special mention also goes to Aline, who was incredibly kind and helpful during check-in and check-out. She consistently answered all our questions and ensured everything ran smoothly. The island itself is a paradise, situated in an incredible location in the Maldives. There’s no shortage of activities to enjoy, from the complimentary daily house reef snorkeling at 11 a.m. to a wide variety of delicious options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The sunset cruise was a highlight—spotting dolphins and strolling along the island’s shores during sunset felt magical and romantic. A big thank you to Hatim from the buffet team and all the staff who worked tirelessly to deliver such a wonderful experience. Every member of the team contributed to making our stay exceptional. We can’t wait to return to this stunning island and relive these incredible moments!

Honeymoon fun!

We went here for our honeymoon last month! It was beautiful and the experience of staying in an over the water bungalow was definitely one to remember! Although you can see quite a bit of other guests bungalows from your bungalow, most folks spend their days on the beach island across the water- so even though I was concerned privacy would be an issue it turned out to be very private and romantic! We were upgraded upon arrival to a larger suit as it was our honeymoon. We saw dolphins on our sunset cruise, fed birds out of our hands and enjoyed some much needed relaxation time! Our house cleaner was Irey who was so incredibly sweet- our server was incredible as well and set a special table for us for our honeymoon dinner. There is a lot going on at the pool each day/night on the sandy island!
