Angsana Laguna Phuket

I stayed in this property as I was there for work. This is one of the most beautiful properties in Phuket. The hotel has large spacious rooms, excellent restaurants and a beautiful beachfront. I would also like to recognise a few hotel staff. Khun Helena at the front office is one of the most customer focused hoteliers I’ve come across. She was always there to provide assistance to us whenever needed and it was super efficient. I would also like to compliment Khun Tom and Khun Men who come across as very kind people and have great interactions with guests. Thank you.

Was there for my friend’s destination wedding in Angsana Lagina Phuket. Angsana staff was very friendly and hospitable, really helpful and kind. Fantastic facilities and accommodation, great for friends and family trip. Would like to commend Helena, Nit and Petch for making it a very pleasant trip and memorable one for me and friends.

Don’t get me wrong we have had a fantastic holiday in Phuket, the people make this place amazing - thank you to them all, hotel staff and local bar and restaurant owners everyone is happy and want to please you. The beach is amazing. The sea is glorious Locally there is poverty and litter but I honestly don’t think anything could have made me love this place less it is a paradise. Now the reason I have titles my reviews‘It’s OK’ is because of the actual hotel. I am really not sure why this hotel is approx £2000 dearer than others just along the beach. You can see it was once beautiful and in places still is- the gardens are all maintained the lagoons are picturesque but sadly there is an overall look of tiredness. It needs a good paint and spruce up. Other hotels next door are newer looking and beautiful I could be missing something but I’m sure all have good house keeping and breakfasts as this one does. We do have a larger beachfront area so maybe that is it? I also wish to add there are a lot of functions at this hotel, as there maybe at others I’m not sure, but this means in the 10days we’ve had breakfast in two other areas due to private breakfast functions, and endured several days of construction noise when things have been erected and microphones tested etc. we have had a super time , but I will be staying elsewhere when I return as I think this one is overpriced 🌞🌞

First holiday travelling with a baby, and first off I want to praise Apple from housekeeping who provided babysitting services. She was excellent, and I hope that the hotel rewards and recognises this. In terms of the hotel itself, I would recommend this, if you are after a decent resort holiday - you're surrounding an artificial lagoon, and the rooms although a little dated, are good, and of a good size, many of them with excellent views. There was enough to do for 5 days, but any longer and you'll be itching to see some of the 'real' Thailand. The staff were good and very helpful, and the pools were great for kids. The beach attached to the property is also good. This isn't 5* luxury, but it's certainly very decent.

We are a family of 4 in the middle of a 5 night stay in a 2 bedroom loft room . From our first point of interaction with the hotel right through to check in, everything has been absolutely seamless, which has really enhanced our stay. Special mention to Eddy who has been brilliant! She has been very responsive and helpful and so arranged a special set up for our wedding anniversary. This is our second stay at the resort and it's great to see the hotel was busy post covid. Plenty of activities for the kids, decent buffet breakfast with what you would typically expect in an Asian beachfront resort and a great pool. Yes the property is a little dated, but by beach resort standards it's certainly still very good....and the service makes up for it. Still 3 days to go and we are already looking forward to our next trip here
